why?

Independent Practice: Renaissance

OPTION 1:

• Perspective drawing was a characteristic of the Italian Renaissance. If you choose to draw a perspective drawing, make sure to maintain the subject matter of the Renaissance: Madonna (Mary) and baby Jesus, nature, classical Greek scenes, etc. Absolutely no stick figures allowed!

OPTION 2:

• A Renaissance Man was a man who knew how to read, write, paint, draw, ride a horse, swordfight, play a musical instrument, etc. He had many talents. Using today’s vernacular, write a ten sentence letter explaining what it takes to be a modern day Renaissance man. What talents do you have to have?
