What does it mean to reduce?

REDUCTION MEANS TO MAKE SOMETHING SMALLER

USE SOMETHING LESS OFTEN

Don’t buy it unless you REALLY need it.

If you must buy it, makesure it IS recyclable.

Why should we reuse items?

PRODUCTS THAT STAY USEFUL REDUCE THE DEMAND FOR NEW PRODUCTS

REUSING ITEMS ALSO EXTEND THE PRODUCTS NEED TO BE RECYCLED OR THROWED AWAY

ReuseTurn that old plastic milk jug into a bird feeder.

Tin cans make excellent wind chimes.
