Welcome from the Head of SchoolWhen searching for a school, it is important to investigate the daily life and rhythm of the school and to consider its values and aspirations. Rebecca T. Upham, Head of Buckingham Browne & Nichols, will share with you her thoughts about BB&N and her outlook for the future of the School.

Upper School Student Life Panel Classes, athletics, artistic projects, and other opportunities are important aspects of a student’s overall experience at BB&N. Through this panel discussion, moderated by Dean of Students, Rory Morton, you will hear from students about how BB&N feels from the inside.
9:30 – 9:55 and 11:00 - 11:25 in Room 210 (second floor)
Diversity at BB&NPlease join this important conversation, facilitated by BB&N’s Director of Multicultural Services, Lewis Bryant. For 30 years, Mr. Bryant has led BB&N’s effort to become a truly diverse, multicultural, and inclusive community. While increasing the number of students of color on campus was one of the original goals, supporting a broader definition of diversity, one inclusive of sexual orientation, class, religion, gender, culture, and other social identities is the present day goal at BB&N. We are proud of the many levels of support we offer, and look forward to sharing them with you.

Three Campuses, One School...the joy of learning at every step.
A coeducational day school in Cambridge, Massachusetts, BB&N offers a continuity of education that is rare among independent schools. The
educational program provides a challenging core curriculum that is taught in insightful, innovative ways. BB&N’s three separate campuses have been carefully designed to complement the developmental growth of children. Each campus is composed of energetic learners, from a wide variety of backgrounds and geographic locations, united by a common pursuit of excellence. At BB&N, students are encouraged to test their ideas and broaden their ways of thinking, as they experience a range
of viewpoints within a safe, supportive environment. Additionally, the School’s location makes its possible to expand the classrooms beyond their finite walls and engage the larger world. BB&N offers a dynamic
combination of exceptional academics and extensive opportunities, available to all in an inclusive environment where individuals feel
comfortable being themselves.
