• Parents can accompany their children to the respective classrooms and leave the school after their children are in class.

• Parents may visit during the P1 recess from 10.00 am to 10.30 am and leave the school at the end of the recess.

• Primary 4 pupils will be assigned as buddies to the P1 pupils during recess for the first week.

First Day @ School

• Parents are to indicate to the teachers-in-charge the means by which their sons will be taken home after school:

- by school bus

- by private transport:

Dismissal

• P1 pupils are to assemble at the foyer. Their form teachers will be there to lead them to their classes.

• Parents are not allowed in during P1 recess or after school.

Second and Third Day of School

• Small group of professional staff

• Meet on a regular basis

• Discuss referred pupils who are experiencing school related difficulties

• Intention is to make recommendations to support the pupil’s learning needs

2. Collect information on referral cases3. Facilitate Special Exam Accommodation requests4. Provide Transition Support5. Facilitate referrals to outside agencies

School Family Education (SFE) was launched in 2002 by the MCYS (Ministry of Community Development, Youth & Sports).

St. Stephen’s School embarked on SFE in April 2010.

SFE adopts a holistic family learning model:- To equip parents with effective parenting skills- To train them to be parent facilitators- To help school staff to enhance their family life- To provide students with life skills training.
