Romanian Membership at JINR

Law no. 49/1994 Romania is represented by a Plenipotentiary Representative (PR) nominated by the Prime Minister A Steering Committee for Collaboration with JINR , nominated by the Minister of Education and Research assists the PR in taking the specific decisions.

Romanians at JINR for long terms

Three sources of financing the bilateral cooperation from the

membership contribution:

• 8% of– on financing the grants of Romanian Plenipotentiary

• 12% of the actually paid contribution – on financing cooperation

programs between JINR and Romanian Institutions and the summer

student practice.

• ~20% for supplementary salaries

• 40% for delivery contracts

Since 2009 every year 10-15% to support the Romanian research

groups in Romania
