In Hong Kong, we have the Hong

Kong Green Day (HKGD) to

acknowledge and celebrate WED

on 5 June. The campaign intends

to raise public awareness and

interest regarding environmental protec-on and

responsibility. The community is asked to wear and

display green in their clothing and accessories to sup-

port the event.

People everywhere are gearing up for World Environment Day!

In Macedonia, NGO OXO will use recycled

materials to create ouEits for a fashion show to be

held to celebrate WED.

In India, an online photo contest has been

launched to celebrate WED.

In Australia, family fun is planned at the Logan Eco

Ac-on Fes-val (LEAF) where about 15,000 people

gather every year to learn and share eco-living

You are encouraged to register your celebra-on ac-vi-es on WED’s
