د مدمO' Allah send Your blessings on

Muhammad

and the family of Muhammad.

allahumma salli `ala muhammadin wa ali

muhammadin

ي ن بشم الل خم خم الر الرIn the Name of Allah,

the All-beneficent, the All-merciful.

bismi allahi alrrahmini alrrahimi

subhana allahi

all praise be to Allah,

walhamdu lillahi

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

there is no god save Allah,

wa la ilaha illa allahu

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

ي اهبر وا للAllah is the Greatest,

wallahu akbaru

there is neither power nor might save

with Allah, the Most High, the All-

magnificent.

wa la hawla wa la quwwata illa billahi

al`aliyyi al`azimi

ار ا لوGlory be to Allah in hours of the night

and at the two ends of the day.

subhana allahi ana'a allayli wa atrafa

alnnahari

Glory be to Allah in the morning and

the evening hours.

subhana allahi bilghuduwwi wal-asali

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

ي صبدان ا لل ػشل وا إلبنار با

Glory be to Allah in the early hours of

night and morning.

subhana allahi bil`ashiyyi wal-ibkari

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

Glory be to Allah when you enter the

night and when you enter the

morning.

subhana allahi hina tumsuna wa hina

tusbihuna

وا الرض Unto Him be praise in the heavens, the

earth,

wa lahu alhamdu fi alssamawati wal-ardi

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

at the sun's decline, and in the

noonday.

wa `ashiyyan wa hina tuzhiruna

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

خرج دت من ا ل لم

ا He brings forth the living from the

dead,

yukhriju alhayya mina almayyiti

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

خرج ت و م من ا ل ا لد

brings forth the dead from the living,

wa yukhriju almayyita mina alhayyi

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

revives the earth after its death,

wa yuhyi al-arda ba`da mawtiha

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

لم ثخرجن وهذ

and even so will you be brought forth.

wa kadhalika tukhrajuna

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

م رب ة صبدان رب ػزا ا ل غمصفن

Glorified be Your Lord, the Lord of

Majesty, from that which they

attribute (to Him).

subhana rabbika rabbi al`izzati `amma

yasifuna

Peace be upon the Messengers.

wa salamun `ala almursalina

All praise be to Allah, the Lord of the

Worlds.

walhamdu lillahi rabbi al`alamina

Glory be to the Lord of Kingdom and

Realm.

subhana dhi almulki walmalakuti

Glory be to the Lord of Majesty and

Magnificence.

subhana dhi al`izzati waljabaruti

Glory be to the Lord of Greatness and

Magnitude;

the True Sovereign, the Guardian, and

the Holy.

Ever-living Who never dies.

Glory be to Allah, the Ever-living, the

Glory be to the Self-Existent, the

Glory be to the Eternal, the Self-

Existent.

Glory be to my Lord, the Most Great.

Glory be to the Ever-living, the Self-

Existent.

subhana alhayyi alqayyumi

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

صبدان ػل ا ل ا الغل

Glory be to the Exalted, the Most High.

subhana al`aliyyi al-a`la

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

صبداهي وثػال

Glory be to Him, and Exalted be Him.

subhanahu wa ta`ala

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

وس ح لد صبGlorified (is He), Holy (is He),

subbuhun quddusun

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

وا ورب مالئنة ربوح ا ل وا لر

Our Lord, and the Lord of the angels

and the Spirit.

rabbuna wa rabbu almala'ikati walrruhi

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

ائم صبدان ر ا لد غافو غ ا ل

Glory be to the Eternal Who never

forgets.

subhana aldda'imi ghayri alghafili

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

ػالم صبدان ر ثػلم ا ل بغ

Glory be to the All-knowing Who does

not need teaching.

subhana al`alimi bighayri ta`limin

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

رى صبدان خالق ما وما ال رى

Glory be to the Creator of all seen and

unseen beings.

subhana khaliqi ma yura wa ma la yura

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

ذيصبدان درك ا ل ا البصار

Glory be to Him Who comprehends all

visions,

subhana alladhi yudriku al-absara

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

ا البصار وال ثدرهي but visions cannot comprehend Him,

wa la tudrikuhu al-absaru

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

طف و خبر ا لل ا ل

and He is the Knower of subtleties, the

Aware.

wa huwa allatifu alkhabiru

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

اصبدت موم ف م إه الل

ر هػمة وخO Allah, I begin my day covered with

grace and favor from You

allahumma inni asbahtu minka fi ni`matin

wa khayrin

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

ة وبرهة وغافas well as blessing and good health.

wa barakatin wa `afiyatin

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

فصو د غل لي مدم وا

So, (please) bless Muhammad and his

Household,

fasalli `ala muhammadin wa alihi

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

رك هػمجم وخ واثمم غلmake perfect Your grace and favor for

me

wa atmim `alayya ni`mataka wa khayraka

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

جم وبرهاثم وغافas well as Your blessings and good

health,

wa barakatika wa `afiyataka

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

ار بوجاة من الوthrough redemption from Hellfire,

binajatin mina alnnari

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

جم وا رزلو شنرك وغافgrant me thanksgiving to You,

enjoyment of wellbeing from You,

warzuqni shukraka wa `afiyataka

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

وفضلم وهرامجم ابدا ما جو ابك

Your grace, and Your honor

permanently so long as You decide

to keep me alive.

wa fadlaka wa karamataka abadan ma

abqaytani

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

م بورك ت الل جد ا O Allah, only by Your Light have I been

guided,

allahumma binurika ihtadaytu

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

ت وبفضلم ا صجغوonly by Your grace have I been

opulent,

wa bifadlika istaghnaytu

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

ت وبوػمجم اصبدت وامشand only by Your grace have I lived in

eves and morns.

wa bini`matika asbahtu wa amsaytu

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

م إه دك الل اش ف بم وه

دا شO Allah, I ask You to witness for me,

and You are surely sufficient as a

witness,

allahumma inni ush-hiduka wa kafa bika

shahidan

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

اءك جم واهب د مالئن واش ورصلم

and I also choose as witnesses Your

angels, Prophets, Messengers,

wa ush-hidu mala'ikataka wa anbiya'aka wa

rusulaka

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

ان وخملة غرشم وصن وارضم صماواثم

the bearers of Your Throne, the

inhabitants of Your heavens and

earth,

wa hamalata `arshika wa sukkana

samawatika wa ardika

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

كم وجمع خل

and all Your creatures,

wa jami`a khalqika

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

م اهت ي باه ي ال ا لل إال اهت إل

that You are Allah, there is no god save

You,

bi'annaka anta allahu la ilaha illa anta

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

م وخدك ال شرم ل

One and Only Lord, having no partner,

wahdaka la sharika laka

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

دا وان مدم ي صل ي ا لل لي غل وا

م غبدك ورصل

and that Muhammad, peace be upon

him and his Household, is Your

servant and Messenger,

wa anna muhammadan salla allahu `alayhi

wa alihi `abduka wa rasuluka

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

م واه هو غل ء لدر شand that You have power over all

things;

wa annaka `ala kulli shay'in qadirun

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

وثمت وثمت ثد وثد You grant life and cause to die and You

cause to die and grant life;

tuhyi wa tumitu wa tumitu wa tuhyi

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

د ان ة واش جو خق ا ل

and I witness that Paradise is true,

wa ash-hadu anna aljannata haqqun

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

ار وان خق ا لوHellfire is true,

wa anna alnnara haqqun

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

شر وان خق ا لوResurrection is true,

wa anna alnnushura haqqun

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

اغة ا وا لش ب ف ة ال ر ث ا

the Hour is coming, there is no doubt

about it,

walssa`ata atiyatun la rayba fiha

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

ي وان بػح من ف ا لل كبر ا ل

and Allah shall raise up those who are

in graves.

wa anna allaha yab`athu man fi alquburi

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

بن اب طالب د ان غل واشمؤمون امر خكا خكا ا ل

I also witness that `Ali the son of Abu-

Talib is truly the commander of the

faithful, indeed,

wa ash-hadu anna `aliyya bna abi talibin

amiru almu'minina haqqan haqqan

the Imams from his offspring are the

guides, leaders, and well-guided,

wa anna al-a'immata min wuldihi hum al-

a'immatu alhudatu almahdiyyuna

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

ر ن غ ال ن وال ا لض مضل

ا ل

neither straying off nor misleading,

ghayru alddallina wa la almudillina

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

اؤك م اول ن واه مصطف ا ل

and they are Your chosen

representatives,

wa annahum awliya'uka almustafawna

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

غالبن وخزبم ا ل

Your triumphant party,

wa hizbuka alghalibuna

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

كم رثم من خل ثم وخ وصف

Your choice, the most favorable of all

Your creatures,

wa sifwatuka wa khiyaratuka min khalqika

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

ذن وهجباؤك م ا ل ا هججبج

لدوم the superior ones whom You have

selected for Your religion,

wa nujaba'uka alladhina intajabtahum

lidinika

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

م كم وا خجصصج من خل

decided on from among Your beings,

wakhtasastahum min khalqika

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

م ج وا صطف غبادك غلchosen from among Your servants,

wastafaytahum `ala `ibadika

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

ة م خج ج وجػل من غل

ػال

ا ل

and made Claims against all beings.

wa ja`altahum hujjatan `ala al`alamina

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

م اثم غل الم صل ورخمة وا لشي وبرهاثي ا لل

May Your consent, peace, mercy, and

blessings be upon them.

salawatuka `alayhim wa alssalamu wa

rahmatu allahi wa barakatuhu

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

م جب الل ذى ل ا ه ادة ا لش غودك

O Allah, (please do) certify this witness

for me with You

allahumma iktub li hadhihi alshshahadata

`indaka

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

ا خج وو م ثلك امة كواهت ا ل راض غو

so that You shall give it back to me on

the Resurrection Day while You are

pleased with me.

hatta tulaqqinaniha yawma alqiyamati wa

anta `anni radin

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

م إه ما ثشاء لدر غلVerily, You have power over all that

which You will.

innaka `ala ma tasha'u qadirun

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

م م ل دمد الل

O Allah, to You be praise the first of

which ascends while its end is

infinite.

allahumma laka alhamdu hamdan yas`adu

awwaluhu wa la yanfadu akhiruhu

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

خمدا ثضع ا لم

ماء ل ا ا لش هوف

O Allah, to You be praise due to which

the heavens humbles itself to You

allahumma laka alhamdu hamdan tada`u

laka alssama'u kanafayha

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

م ح ل ا ا الرض وثشب ومن غل

and the earth as well as all those on it

glorify You.

wa tusabbihu laka al-ardu wa man `alayha

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

م م ل دمد الل

خمدا صرمدا ا ل

ابدا O Allah, to You be praise—eternal,

endless,

allahumma laka alhamdu hamdan sarmadan

abadan

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

having neither cessation nor

exhaustion,

la inqita`a lahu wa la nafada

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

ول

fitting You, and being dedicated to

You,

wa laka yanbaghi wa ilayka yantahi

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

دي ول وغل ف

about me, on (Your favors to) me, with

me,

fiyya wa `alayya wa ladayya

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

ومػ ولبل وبػديalong with me, before me, after me,

wa ma`i wa qabli wa ba`di

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

ل وثدج وامام وفin front of me, over me, beneath me,

wa amami wa fawqi wa tahti

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

وإذا مت وبكت فردا وخدا خم فوت

when I die, remain totally alone, and

will be then terminated.

wa idha mittu wa baqitu fardan wahidan

thumma fanitu

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

إذا هشرت وبػدت ا ل

To You be all praise when I shall be

resurrected and raised up (from

grave).

wa laka alhamdu idha nushirtu wa bu`ithtu

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

ا ل

O my Lord, O Allah, to You be all

praise

ya mawlaya allahumma wa laka alhamdu

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

م نر ول بجمع مدامدك ا لش

ا هلand all thanks in all forms of praising

You

wa laka alshshukru bijami`i mahamidika

kulliha

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

ا غل جمع هػمائم هلfor all Your favors

`ala jami`i na`ma'ika kulliha

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

وا رب وثرضuntil (this) praise achieves the

pleasure and satisfaction of You, O

our Lord.

hatta yantahiya alhamdu ila ma tuhibbu

rabbana wa tarda

وشربة O Allah, to You be all praise for each

and every food, drink,

allahumma laka alhamdu `ala kulli aklatin

wa sharbatin

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

power, grip,

wa batshatin wa qabdatin

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

ضع شػرة وبشطة وف هو مextension, and for each place of a

single hair.

wa bastatin wa fi kulli mawdi`i sha`ratin

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

مع خلدك O Allah, to You be all praise that is as

eternal as You are.

allahumma laka alhamdu hamdan khalidan

ma`a khuludika

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

To You be all praise that never ends

save Your knowledge (about it).

wa laka alhamdu hamdan la muntaha lahu

duna `ilmika

save when You will.

wa laka alhamdu hamdan la amada lahu

إال رضاك To You be all praise the one and only

reward of its sayer is nothing save

Your pleasure.

wa laka alhamdu hamdan la ajra liqa'ilihi illa

wa laka alhamdu qadima alhamdi

To You be all praise and You are

truthful in promise, fulfiller of pledge,

wa laka alhamdu sadiqa alwa`di wafiyya

al`ahdi

mighty in power, and subsistingly

glorious.

`aziza aljundi qa'ima almajdi

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

highest in ranks, the responsive to

prayers,

wa laka alhamdu rafi`a alddarajati mujiba

aldda`awati

صماوات the descender of sings (or Verses)

from above seven skies,

munazzila al-ayati min fawqi sab`i

samawatin

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

برهات غظم ا ل

the grantor of outstanding blessings,

`azima albarakati

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

ر مخرج لمات من ا لو ا لظthe bringer forth of light from utter

darkness,

mukhrija alnnuri mina alzzulumati

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

لمات ومخرج من ف ا لظ إل

ر ا لوthe bringer forth of those who are in

darkness to light,

wa mukhrija man fi alzzulumati ila alnnuri

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

ل ئت مبد لش خشوات ا

the changer of evil deeds into good

deeds,

mubaddla alssayyi'ati hasanatin

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

دشوات وجاغو درجات ا ل

and the maker of good deeds raise to

high ranks.

wa ja`ila alhasanati darajatin

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

م م ل دمد الل

هب غافر ا ل ا لذ

ب ولابو ا لجO Allah, to You be all praise and You

are the Forgiver of the faults, the

Acceptor of repentance,

allahumma laka alhamdu ghafira

aldhdhanbi wa qabila alttawbi

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

ػكاب شدد ل ذا ا ل ا لط

severe to punish, and Lord of bounty.

shadida al`iqabi dhalttawli

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

ي ال م إل مصر إال اهت إل

ا ل

There is no god save You; to You shall

be the return.

la ilaha illa anta ilayka almasiru

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

م م ل دمد الل

و ف ا ل إذا ا لل

غش O Allah, to You be all praise in the

night when it draws a veil.

allahumma laka alhamdu fi allayli idha

yaghsha

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

ار ف ا ل إذا ا لو ثجل

To You be all praise in the day when it

shines in brightness.

wa laka alhamdu fi alnnahari idha tajalla

To You be all praise in the Hereafter

and the former life.

wa laka alhamdu fi al-akhirati wal-ula

ماء وملم ف ا لشTo You be all praise as many as the

numbers of all stars and angels in

the heavens.

wa laka alhamdu `adada kulli najmin wa

malakin fi alssama'i

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

رى غدد ا ل ا لد

دصى وا ل وا لو

To You be all praise as much as dust

and as many as pebbles and seeds.

wa laka alhamdu `adada alththara walhasa

walnnawa

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

ا ل

غدد ما ف جماء ا لش

To You be all praise as many as all that

which is in the air.

wa laka alhamdu `adada ma fi jawwi

alssama'i

ف ا ل غدد ما ف ج

ا الرض To You be all praise as many as all that

which is in the interior of the earth.

wa laka alhamdu `adada ma fi jawfi al-ardi

اى ا ل غدد اوزان م

بدار ا ل

To You be all praise as much as the

weight of sea water.

wa laka alhamdu `adada awzani miyahi

albihari

ا الشجار غدد اوراق ا ل

To You be all praise as many as leaves

of trees.

wa laka alhamdu `adada awraqi al-ashjari

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

م دمد ول

غدد ما ا ل وجي غل

ا الرض To You be all praise as many as all that

which exists on the earth surface.

wa laka alhamdu `adada ma `ala wajhi al-

ardi

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

م دمد ول

غدد ما ا ل اخص

جابم ه To You be all praise as much as that

which has been counted by Your

Book.

wa laka alhamdu `adada ma ahsa kitabuka

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

م دمد ول

غدد ما اخاط بي ا ل

مم غل

To You be all praise as much as all that

which is comprehended by Your

Knowledge.

wa laka alhamdu `adada ma ahata bihi

`ilmuka

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

جن ا إلهس غدد ا ل

وا ل

To You be all praise as many as the

numbers of men, jinn,

wa laka alhamdu `adada al-insi waljinni

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

ام ر وا ل ائم وا لط ب

وا لباع لش

وا pests, birds, animals, and beasts—

walhawammi walttayri walbaha'imi

walssiba`i

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

با درا ط خمدا ه

praise that is abundant, pleasant,

hamdan kathiran tayyiban

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

وا مبارها في هما ثدب رب وثرض

and as blessed as You, our Lord,

please and gratify

mubarakan fihi kama tuhibbu rabbana wa

tarda

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

م وغز وبغ لنرم وج وهما

جاللم so much so that it befits the majesty of

Your Face and the dignity of Your

splendor.

wa kama yanbaghi likarami wajhika wa `izzi

jalalika

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

ي ال ي إال إل ي ا لل

وخدى ال شرم ل

There is no god save Allah; One and

Only and having no partner.

la ilaha illa allahu wahdahu la sharika lahu

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

Then, repeat the following statements ten times each:

ا ل وطف خبر ا لل

ا ل

To Him is the Kingdom and to Him is

(all) praise. He is the Knower of

subtleties, the Aware.

lahu almulku wa lahu alhamdu wa huwa

allatifu alkhabiru

ي ل

There is no god save Allah; One and

Only and having no partner.

la ilaha illa allahu wahdahu la sharika lahu

وTo Him is the Kingdom and to Him is

(all) praise. He gives life and causes

to die and causes to die and gives

life, lahu almulku wa lahu alhamdu yuhyi wa

yumitu wa yumitu wa yuhyi

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

خ دى و مت ب ر ال خ ا ل

و ء لدر غل هو شwhile He is ever-living and never dies.

In His Hand is the entire goodness

and He has power over all things.

wa huwa hayyun la yamutu biyadihi

alkhayru wa huwa `ala kulli shay'in

qadirun

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

ي اصجغفر ذي ا للي ال ا ل

إل إال

دم ا ل ك

ي ا ل

واثب إل

I pray the forgiveness of Allah; there is

no god save Him, the Ever-living, the

Self-subsistent, and I repent to Him.

astaghfiru allaha alladhi la ilaha illa huwa

alhayyu alqayyumu wa atubu ilayhi

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

ا ي ا ا لل ي ا للO Allah, O Allah!

ya allahu ya allahu

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

ا ن ا رخم ن رخم O All-beneficent, O All-beneficent!

ya rahmanu ya rahmanu

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

ا رخم ا رخم O All-merciful, O All-merciful!

yarahimu ya rahimu

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

ا بدع ماوات وا الرض ا لشO Fashioner of the heavens and the

earth!

ya badi`a alssamawati wal-ardi

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

ا ذا جالل هرام ا ل وا إل

O Lord of Majesty and Dignity!

ya dhaljalali wal-ikrami

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

ا ان ا خو ان موO All-compassionate! O Grantor (of

graces)!

ya hannanu ya mannanu

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

م ا ل ا خ O Ever-living! O Self-Subsistent!

ya hayyu yaqayyumu

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

ال ا خ ي إال اهت إل

O Ever-living! There is no god save

You!

ya hayyu la ilaha illa anta

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

ا ي ا ال ا لل ي إال اهت إل

O Allah! O He save Whom there is no

god!

ya allahu ya la ilaha illa anta

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

ي بشم ن ا لل خم خم ا لر ا لرIn the Name of Allah, the All-

beneficent, the All-merciful.

bismi allahi alrrahmani alrrahimi

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

م صو الل ل غل

د وا مدم

د مدمO Allah, bless Muhammad and the

Household of Muhammad.

allahumma salli `ala muhammadin wa ali

muhammadin

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

م لي ا فػو الل ب ما اهت اO Allah, do to me that which You are

worthy to do.

allahumma if`al bi ma anta ahluhu

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

(please do) Respond, respond.

amina amina

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

ي لو اخد ا للSay: He, Allah, is One.

qul huwa allahu ahadun

worthy to do

allahumma isna` bi ma anta ahluhu

You should then say the following:

لي وال ثصوع ب ما اها اbut do not do to me that which I

deserve,

wa la tasna` bi ma ana ahluhu

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

و م ا ى فإه ك و ا لج وامغفرة

ا ل

for You are worthy to be feared and

worthy to forgive,

fa'innaka ahlu alttaqwa wa ahlu almaghfirati

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

و هب واها ا ا ا لذ خطا وا ل

while I am the one of sins and faults.

wa ana ahlu aldhdhunubi walkhataya

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

رخمو الي فا ا م

So, have mercy upon me, O my Lord,

farhamni ya mawlaya

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

اخمن واهت ارخم ا لرand You are the most merciful of all

those who show mercy.

wa anta arhamu alrrahimina

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

ة إال ل وال ل ي ال خ لل با

There is neither power nor might save

with Allah.

la hawla wa la quwwata illa billahi

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

Then repeat the following ten times:

ال ا ل

مت I trust in the Ever-living (Lord) Who

never dies.

tawakkaltu `ala alhayyi alladhi la yamutu

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

دمد ي وا ل ذيلل

دا ا ل

ولخذ ج م

ل

All praise be to Allah, Who begets no

son,

walhamdu lillahi alladhi lm yattakhidh

waladan

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

ي شرم ف نن ل م

م ول

مل ا ل

and has no partner in His dominion

wa lam yakun lahu sharikun fi almulki

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

من ي ولنن ل م

ل ول

ا لذnor needs He any to protect Him from

humiliation:

wa lam yakun lahu waliyyun mina aldhdhulli

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات

رى ثنبرا وهبyea, magnify Him for His greatness

and glory!

wa kabbirhu takbiran

Dua’a-ul-A’sharaat دغاء الػشرات
