• The similarity of the color reinforce the brands image.• The site is grouped into sections to find similar content easier.

Variety

• Articles have different elements that help add information.

Balance

• Good use of symmetrical balance with equal visual weight to help direct the viewers eye to the center content.

Scale and Proportion

• The scale of the of the background really helps open up the layout of the site. The laptop almost looks life size and is really prominent.

Rhythm

• The layout of the text helps the reader flow through the articles. Keeps the eye moving from headline to headline.

Emphasis

• The large picture brings attention to current events that they want to inform first.

Simplicity

• Its not a complicated layout and is very user friendly. No instructions needed.
