Families can take airboat rides to see different animals such as birds, alligators, turkeys, wild hogs and bobcats, deer and more.

Kids seeking an extra thrill will get a kick out of water skiing and wakeboarding.

Local companies that can offer lessons include: Ron Scarpa’s Watersports, Fluid Ski & Sports, Barefoot, Etc., and World Barefoot Center.

Guests can also visit the AWSEF Water Ski Hall of Fame.

FLORIDA FISHING

The Central Florida area has more than 550 lakes, perfect for families on a Florida fishing trip.

Visitors 16 and over require a Florida fishing license, but children are allowed to fish without a license.
