more enthralling to fling a stone across from the top and look at it
toppling down the valley.

availability of flat space here, it becomes an ideal spot to view the
extensive valley and also the Duke’s Nose. One can see the adjacent
city of Khopoli from this point.
Duke’s Nose: A cliff that got its name from Duke Wellington, it was
named so due to his pointed nose, which resembles to this cliff. It is
also called as “Naagfani”, which means refers to the hood of snake.
One can reach here easily from the Kurwande Village and INS
Shivaji. Apart from offering a beautiful view for the tourists, it also
brings in people who like the trails for mountain climbing here.
Reversing Station:
It is regarded as one of the most picturesque spot in Khandala. The
railways once used it once, but today it is left secluded and largely
unused apart from being a tourist attraction. It offers breathtaking
view of neighboring regions. This spot is meant for kids and elders
who wish to be left alone in their thoughts. At night, the lights seen
from the far-off city of Khopoli, makes for a heavenly sight! One can
see a very huge advertisement hoarding displaying Amrutanjan, near
The Reversing Station, just after coming out of the tunnel number 26.
Lohagad Darshan is also situated near The Reversing Station, which
is kids’ famous place as it has many toys and things to play with.
