How to Visit Thailand? – Visa on Arrival

The VISA ON ARRIVAL allows passport holders of 19 countries to enter Thailand under this rule

The visit is strictly for tourism purposes.Confirmed return ticket to show that they are flying out of Thailand

within 30 or 15 days of entry. If you do not possess a flight ticket to show you will be most likely to be refused entry.

Prove that you have funds of at least 10,000 THB per person and 25,000 THB per family A fee of 1,000 THB is payable upon entry and is subject to change without notice.

Visa on arrival is provided at 24 designated international checkpoints and applicants should submit the application form duly filled out and to which his/her recent photograph (4 x 6 cm) is attached along with the application fee is 1,000 Baht.

How to Visit Thailand? – Visa Exemption

The VISA EXEMPTION RULE allows tourists from 52 countries to enter without a visa. They are granted a stay of maximum 30 days but only if entering Thailand via an international airport. However, persons, entering through a land border checkpoint from neighboring countries will be granted a maximum stay of 15 days.

The visit is strictly for tourism purposes. Confirmed return ticket to show that they are flying out of Thailand

within 30 / 15 days Prove that you have funds of at least 10,000 THB per person during

your stay in Thailand.

Note: UK, USA, Canada, Japan, France, Germany, Italy, Russia, Macau, Hong Kong, Laos, Vietnam will receive 30 days in both airport or land border.Korea, Brazil, Peru, Argentina and Chile will get 90 days in both airport and land border.

Visa Fee and Validity

US $ 30.00 per entry or equivalent. Validity of a tourist visa ranges from 3 months to 6 months If you arrive in Thailand through an international airport, you

will be given a 30 or 60-day permission of stay depending country’s bilateral agreement on visa exemption

If you enter Thailand via land border, you will receive a 15-day permission of stay as a tourist in the immigration post

Tourist visa can also be extended if you wish or need to stay longer in Thailand.
