Day01 Arrive Srinagar
Welcome to your 'Magical Kashmir' tour! On arrival at the airport in Srinagar, you will be met and transferred to your hotel.
The rest of the day is at leisure for independent activities.
Overnight in Srinagar.
None (Meals on your own)
Day02 In Srinagar *Excursion to Sonmarg (82 kms/ approx. 3 hours drive per way)
Today, embark on a full day excursion tour to Sonmarg; admirably known as the 'meadow of gold'. Sonmarg, an alpine valley is
situated at the bank of Nallah Sindh River. Sindh River indulges you in an activity of fishing especially during summers. This
river bed is a popular breeding ground for trout and mahseer fishes.
Return to your hotel in Srinagar.
The rest of the evening is at leisure to explore the city.
Overnight in Srinagar (B)
Day03 On to Gulmarg (52 kms / approx. 2 hours drive)
This morning, proceed to Gulmarg. The beautiful town of Gulmarg is bordered by picturesque villages, willow trees, fast flowing
streams and lush green meadows. Gulmarg - 'Meadow of Flowers' offers a spectacular view of towering snow capped peaks
covered with dense forests of tall conifers, gigantic firs and pine trees.
The rest of the evening is at leisure to explore a hill station. One can take a leisurely stroll across the green meadows to one of
the world's highest Golf Course Or can opt for a fun-filled ride in the Gondola (on direct payment basis).
Overnight in Gulmarg (B)
Day04 On to Srinagar (52 kms / approx 2 hours drive)
This morning, after breakfast drive to Srinagar.. On arrival, check in to your houseboat.
In the afternoon, proceed on a sightseeing tour of Srinagar visiting places like the Shankaracharya Temple, Chashme Shahi
gardens, Shalimar Gardens and Nishat Bagh.
Shankaracharya Temple, situated at a height of about 1,100 ft. on a hilltop on the southeast of the city, offers splendid views of
the valley and the snow-capped mountains of the Pir Panjal range. Dedicated to Lord Shiva, it is believed that this Hindu temple
was built in 371 BC, making it one of the oldest in the valley of Kashmir.
Chashme Shahi, an ancient garden established in 1632 by Emperor Shah Jahan, is considered to be one of the smallest Mughal
gardens in Srinagar. Divided into three different sections with an aqueduct, waterfalls and fountains, it provides magnificent
views of the Himalayas and the Dal Lake.
Shalimar Gardens (also known as garden of love), situated 15 km from Srinagar, is one of the most popular Mughal gardens in
the city. It has four terraces, rising one above the other, fitted with fountains and chinar (sycamore) trees.
Nishat Garden is situated on the banks of the picturesque Dal Lake, with the Zabarwan Mountains forming its backdrop. Also
known as the garden of bliss, it was laid out in 1633 by Asaf Khan, the elder brother of Nur Jahan. Designed in Persian style,
this is a 12-terrace garden interspersed with fountains, colourful flowerbeds and lush green lawns.

Day05 Depart Srinagar
Today, bid farewell to your 'Magical Kashmir' tour as you are transferred to the airport in Srinagar for your onward journey.

(Deluxe category) as per the itinerary. Vehicle is as per the itinerary and not on disposal basis.
Meals - Daily buffet breakfast at all places.
The stay in houseboat includes all mealsas per the Itinerary.
One Shikara ride on a sharing basis once during the stay.

All sightseeing is subject to weather conditions, political conditions in the destination.
In Gulmarg and Sonmarg the vehicle will be stopped at a pre-designated parking place by the local taxi /
pony union. From the parking area guests will have to walk or take ponies on direct payment.
The Gondola ride would be on direct payment basis.
Travel Insurance, included in our package cost is valid for age group upto 80 years only. For age group
beyond 80 years, rules, terms and conditions of the insurance company will apply. The same needs to
be checked on case to case basis with the insurance company.
All the prices are for Indian Nationals only, unless specified.
The hotel confirmed will be as per the brochure or an alternate hotel of similar category.
