About TadobaTadoba Andhari Reserve is largest national park in Maharashtra spread over 625.4 Sq.Km. The name Tadoba is derived from Tribal Chief’s name Taru who was killed in an encounter with Tiger. While the river Andhari which flows through forest gives the name Andhari. The dry deciduous forest of Tadoba is dominated by Teak with Ain, Tendu ,Hirda, Dhavada, Mahua , Beheda. Lake inside Tadoba is bird watcher’s paradise with around 200 species of Birds. Royal Bengal Tiger is pride of Tadoba along with other mammals like Leopard, Wild Dogs, Gaur, Sambar, Chital, Sloth Bears, Crocodiles, Hyena, and Jungle Cats.
