Flat4Day is the leading online marketplace for short-term vacation rentals in EEMA region. Flat4Day currently provides more than 27,000 vacation rental properties to its customers and provides customer service in Turkish, English, Arabic, German, French and Russian to thousands of travelers everyday. Our team of 45 people is headquartered in Istanbul, Turkey.
You will be responsible for:
Provide friendly and efficient customer support service to the worldwide Flat4Day
community primarily in English.
Be a first point of contact to handle customer questions regarding properties and
rentals listed on Flat4Day.
Reach hosts and property managers when necessary to figure out answers to
specific questions regarding property details, calendars or pricings, in a timely
manner.
Respond professionally to inbound customer queries over email and phone calls,
including urgent situations.
Identify and escalate issues appropriately to the Inventory Team and Reservations
Managers.
Customize template responses while responding to customer emails.
Be efficient in working with the internal ticketing system of the company and
follow the predetermined courses of actions in answering common questions.
Research information and troubleshoot problems using available resources.
Manages effective relationships with other key functions (call center staff,
inventory team, support team and reservations managers,..) to ensure seamless
communication between hosts and travelers.
Experience
Must be available for a regular schedule of 40 hours a week, one that spans
weekends and holidays as our travelers need our support. Shifts may include
evening or morning hours and occasional weekends. (The working hours will be
compensated based on the shift system; we know you are human )
Patience, empathy, and a unique ability to manage stress.
Skilled and eloquent in writing in English.
Comfortable and fluent in speaking in English
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and adapt quickly to adverse situations.
Technical aptitude and the ability to pick up new technology quickly.
Bonus Skills
Basic understanding of Turkish
Any other European or Middle Eastern language knowledge would be a plus
(including, but not limited to German, French, Italian, Spanish, Russian, Arabic
etc)
Familiarity with ticketing systems.
Experience with resource project management
Previous, demonstrable experience with creation of online help resources
