Hawaii is known for its fresh seafood, and you can taste the different flavors at the Hawaii Fishing & Seafood Festival on Oct. 13, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Pier 38. Admission is free. Ukulele players of all ages will be jamming island-style as they pick, strum and sing in the annual Duke’s Ukes Contest on Oct. 19, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Duke’s Waikiki. Looking for a souvenir to take back home? The Waikiki Artfest has just the thing. Nearly 100 of Hawai‘i’s finest artists and handcraft artisans will display their own creations for sale at Kapiolani Park, Oct. 26 and 27 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. On Halloween night, October 31, grab your costume and join thousands of people who take to the streets of Waikiki for a scary good time.
