Displaying an enormous collection of

arms and heavy artillery from the

Middle Ages to the present day, this

museum is located just across a

narrow canal from the Peter and Paul

Fortress.

Guests can arrive to museum on boats

to the pierce of Fortress.

Forces . Inside the museum displays a rather

old-fashioned collection of military

memorabilia, temporary exhibitions, a nice

little shop stocked with models of weapons

and miniature soldiers and a cafe. Special

permanent exhibition of Kalashnikov guns

available dedicated to the inventor

Kalsahnikov.

Museum of Artillery, Engineering and

Communications Forces is THE BIGGEST

Artillery museum in the world. Building of the

museum is created in the shape of huge

horseshoe. Exhibition is devoted to the

history of arms and artillery. Different rooms

are displaying different historical periods of

artillery art. The most modern part is

exhibition devoted to Kalashnikov machine

gun. The biggest hall (Rocket hall) that used

for functions includes exhibition of the

biggest rockets (the longest is 25 meters) and weapons created in XX century.

Special Exclusive Military style lunch can be organized in

the Rocket Hall.

Group arrives to the museum and met with a Military

Orchestra and trumpets announcing the group’s arrival.

Tour around the museum is organized with a final coming

to the Racket Hall where long table is serves with capacity

up to 600 people. Special military menu with a special

style dish through the catering company. Duration with a

tour around the museum is 2.5 hours for lunch but could

be made shorter.
