General information

The region Amazon region of the four natural regions of Ecuador .

The provinces of Orellana , Pastaza , Napo , Sucumbíos , Morona

Santiago , Zamora Chinchipe . UN extends over 120,000 km² area

of lush vegetation, typical of the humid forests tropical ,

represents 48% of the Ecuadorian territory. Its boundaries are

marked by the Andes Mountains in the western part of region,

while Peru and Colombia in the South and East , respectively limit

MORONA SANTIAGO

• It is a province of the Ecuadorian Amazon. Its capital is the city of Macas , which also is its most populous city. Their territory bordered to the north Pastaza , south of Zamora Chinchipe , east and west Peru Tungurahua , Azuay , Chimborazo and Cañar.

CULTURE AND TRADITIONS

ORELLANA

Orellana , North Central Province ( Ecuador ) , Ecuador Region , the capital of the province is Francisco de Orellana ( Coca ) . Sucumbios bordering north , the south with the province of Pastaza , Peru to the east and west by Napo . It has an area of 20,733 km²

Among its main attractions we can mention the Yasuni National Park, declared a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve , Sumaco volcano surrounded by a large biodiversity and natural viewpoint of the Amazonian plateau.

PASTAZA• Pastaza , Pastaza Province

officially , is one of the 24 provinces that make up the Republic of Ecuador , located in the Amazon region of Ecuador . Named after the Pastaza River , which separates the south of the province of Morona Santiago. Its capital is the city of Puyo.

• Pastaza is a culturally rich province since seven indigenous nationalities live together with ordinary civilians. The main indigenous nationalities are: Achuar , Andoa , Shuar , Kichwa , Shiwiar , Waorani , and Zapara .
