The remaining area is a wild park full of antelopes, zebras, giraffes and warthogs that roam freely. Parliament which was originally built as hotel in 1895 but was soon commandeered for army barracks. Since then it has undergone several renovations and now it is used by the senate and legislative assembly. Generally it is not opened for the public but you can arrange for special permission by calling the Chief Information Officer to sit through the heated discussions during political debates.
