Major Achievement• Around 1200 toilets constructed within 1.5 yrs in poor

cluster

• Reduced subsidy (US$217 to US$38) by municipalities

• Municipality institutionalised the approach - toilets for

poor

• Sanitation Card (Certificate of having toilet) has been

distributed to people

• Self initiatives to upgrade

toilet superstructures
