Each file contains an audio text of about 2-3 minutes

Visit of the famous Cathedral of St. Peter and St Paul, Naumburg

The new signs provide information about nearby Romanesque sites, regional culinary highlights, etc.
Each leg has a different thematic focus, e.g. “Romanesque art”, “castles & palaces”, ”wine”, “music”, “pure nature”, etc.

Length of the trail: about 400 km, split into 8 legs
Total budget for the implementation: 24.000 Euro
The transnational bike trail can be connected to Austria (Carinthia) by train and can there be continued along the Drau river.
Day trips next to the Drau river bike trail have been implemented in Carinthia.
Information about these day trips, e.g. visiting special Romanesque sites, can be downloaded from the website.

Bike trail in Modena, Italy
New map including information about: nearby cultural sites (Romanesque, but not only), nearby most beautiful natural areas, local hotels with bike accommodation, tourist information offices, description of the CrossCulTour project, geo referenced coordinates
Due to the morphology of the provincial territory two itineraries have been developed:
− South of Modena: hilly, 95 km
− North of Modena: plain, 90 km
Each itinerary can be followed by using GPS tools previously downloading the path on Sat Nav, palmtops or smartphones (GPX format)

The Province of Modena has developed also the “Romanesque with Taste” itinerary, which connects Romanesque sites with the local eno-gastronomic excellences
A map has been produced, which is supported by very useful and technological advanced devices

Information about local Romanesque sites Direct sales of typical products, e.g. Parmigiano-
Reggiano, Prosciutto di Modena, Lambrusco di Modena, Aceto Balsamico Tradizionale
Information about the restaurants of the “Modena a Tavola” consortium.

All these tools can be downloaded from Modena website or directly from the map, which is provided with QR-codes and a traditional link to Modena website.
