Business application

[Enterprise 2.0]

Page 2: Wiki It

Hello, my name is Jessica

Today, I’ll show you how I use wiki at work

Page 3: Wiki It

A wiki is a web page that can be seen and easily edited by a group of

persons

Page 4: Wiki It

I was introduced to wiki at my first day of my new job

Page 5: Wiki It

There’s a wiki for new

employeesread by new employees

and edited by new

employees

Page 6: Wiki It

They are allowed to use that wiki for their first three

months

Page 7: Wiki It

By that time, I’ve been asked to

produce my wiki page to introduce

myself to the group

Page 8: Wiki It

The magic is that everybody can add

something on my page

Page 9: Wiki It

I’ve put the link in my email signature so it can be accessed very quickly

Page 10: Wiki It

When I have to holda meeting, I use a wiki

to describe the agenda and I send the link to the

attendees

Page 11: Wiki It

They can edit it

Page 12: Wiki It

After, we use the same page to share the minutes

Page 13: Wiki It

If I have a problem to solve and I don’t know

how…

Page 14: Wiki It

I can ask people around the world if they have

suggestions by posting the problem on a wiki

Page 15: Wiki It

Frequent helpers would be advise automatically via RSS

that I need their help

Page 16: Wiki It

I also often have great ideas to improve my work

Page 17: Wiki It

As soon as I get one, I edit the appropriate wiki work

instruction - WWI with text, images or videos

Page 18: Wiki It

Few minutes later, via RSS, everybody that’s doing the same job as me in the compagny, all around the world, knows my

tricks and can even add something to it

Page 19: Wiki It

Ten years ago, I was living without email

Page 20: Wiki It

Now nobody can imagine living without it

Page 21: Wiki It

wiki will be part of the

next revolution …
