What is Windows 10?
Windows 10 is the most comprehensive and exhaustive overhaul of Microsoft’s Windows franchise in the history of the company. It is a complete rethinking of Windows partially in response to the poor reception Windows 8 got in the marketplace.
Microsoft’s definition is pretty cool. Here it is:
Windows 10 (“Windows”) is a personalized computing environment that enables you to seamlessly roam and access services, preferences and content across your computing devices from phones to tablets to the Surface Hub.
Rather than residing as a static software program on your device, key components of Windows are cloud-based, and both cloud and local elements of Windows are updated regularly, providing you with the latest improvements and features.
There are 7 versions of Windows 10.

Feature deprecation section
• If you have Windows 7 Home Premium, Windows 7 Professional, Windows 7 Ultimate, Windows 8 Pro with Media Center, or Windows 8.1 Pro with Media Center and you install Windows 10, Windows Media Center will be removed.
• Watching DVDs requires separate playback software• Windows 7 desktop gadgets will be removed as part of installing
Windows 10.• Windows 10 Home users will have updates from Windows Update
automatically available. Windows 10 Pro and Windows 10 Enterprise users will have the ability to defer updates.
• Solitaire, Minesweeper, and Hearts Games that come pre-installed on Windows 7 will be removed as part of installing the Windows 10 upgrade. Microsoft has released our version of Solitaire and Minesweeper called the “Microsoft Solitaire Collection” and “Microsoft Minesweeper.”
• If you have a USB floppy drive, you will need to download the latest driver from Windows Update or from the manufacturer’s website.
• If you have Windows Live Essentials installed on your system, the OneDrive application is removed and replaced with the inbox version of OneDrive.

Task View – Virtual Desktops
Jumping into Task View is as simple as hitting the Windows logo key + Tab (or the Task View Button.)
To create a new virtual desktop, hit the Windows logo key + Ctrl + D (or the + New Desktop.) To close the current desktop you’re on, it’s Windows logo key + Ctrl + F4.
Note: It’s very easy to forget what you’re doing and hit Ctrl + Alt and the arrow keys instead of the Windows logo key + Ctrl. If you do that, which I’ve already done many times, you’ll change the orientation of your display.
