Oculus Rift

If you haven't yet heard of Oculus Rift you owe it

to yourself to look at some of the amazing work

being put out

It gives a real life experience to gaming and

other platforms to enhance everything thing

about visual media

The company's is still working on its “Crystal

Cove” prototype

From its demonstrations and tests at CES, the

prototype has uncanny head tracking which lets

use

While the products are still quite new and there

are a lot of kinks to work out, Oculus Rift is on

its way to being an experience like no other

Sony Handycam FDR-

AX100The new Handycam FDR-AX100 is a great new semi-

affordable product released by Sony

Sony has managed to blow consumers away again by

releasing a 4K camera

The camcorder is priced at $2,000 which is still quite

steep, however its pretty cheap when comparing it to

last years model, the FDR-AX1, and definitely less bulky

The FDR-AX100 has the same size sensor found in the

RX100 and RX10 cameras. More specifically is has a 1-

inch-type Exmor R CMOS

The camera also boasts built-in Wi-Fi and NFC

capabilities

These nice add-ons will allow users to transfer footage

wirelessly and pair the AX100 easily with NFC-enabled

mobile devices

Sony 4K Ultra Short Throw

ProjectorWhat could be better than watching your

favorite movie or favorite sports team on a

147-inch 4K screen?

The new Sony 4K Ultra Throw Projector is a

completely different breed

The projector sits on the floor and projects

your favorite shows or movies right onto the

wall

If you’ve ever wanted to have a movie theatre

in your home this new device is just for you

Its short, sleek, and very clean looking allowing

it to work in any room with any decor

The projector is set to ship this year but

unfortunately there is no price yet

Vizio's $1,000 4K Television

UltraHD televisions were the topic of

conversation and the show floor at CES this

year

The main point of that conversation

however was the lowering price of the

televisions

Vizio’s P-Series Ultra HD sets will start at

just $1,000

Even if you don’t plan on investing in one of

the UltraHD TVs now, its worth thinking

about for the future as you will be able to

watch 1080p content and have a future-

ready panel at your service when 4K

content becomes bigger

Intel Smart Earbuds

Intel is making a set of body-monitoring earbuds

Inside the special earbuds lies a tracker that not only syncs

up to iOS systems but also Android devices

The tracker collects all sorts of data including calorie

information, pace, distance, and time data

The earbuds also track the users heartbeat in real time and

offers a visible history graph on your device’s screen

An additional feature that all workout connoisseurs will love

is the automatic trigger to play a pump up or cool down song

when the users heart rate goes above or below the target

area

Intel will not be selling the smart earbuds itself

Intel plans to partner up with a company that's already

handling activity trackers, like Nike, Strava, FitBit, or

Jawbone

Razer's Project Christine

Project Christine is Razer's first attempt at a stackable

and completely customizable PC

The idea behind the glowing tower is to make the

“build-your-own ethos” that is highly desired among

the online gaming community

Each important and integral part of the machine

(memory, graphics cards, and more) will be modular

and in a self-contained unit

This will allow gamers to swap pieces in and out as

desired

Razer is working on ideas to allow customers to

upgrade to the newest parts right when they become

available based on a subscription method

Project Christine is still just a concept, but the

company hopes gamers will enjoy the idea and want

more

Mophie Space Pack

How many times does your phone die on you during the day or

when you are out on the town?

Mophie, the leaders in mobile charging accessories have created

their new Space Pack

The Space Pack is a battery pack with built-in data storage. The

Space Pack is available in 16 and 32 GB versions for iPhones

The button does double on the Space Pack, switching on its own

internal file management system

Feel free to take photos, videos, and download files, all while

storing them inside the case and not on your phone

The Space pack provides double the battery life you would

normally get from your iPhone

For now the Space Pack is for iOS only as Android phones have

built-in file management, and most have external storage

options).

The new product ships March 14 and it's $150 for the 16 GB

model and the 32 GB version is $180

DoorBot

The DoorBot is a very special device that is a

Wi-Fi-enabled doorbell that provides users with

more security in their house

DoorBot allows homeowners to see and talk to

the visitors standing outside their door

entryway from an iOS or Android device

The device is simple enough as it works similar

to Apple’s FaceTime application When

someone rings the bell to someones home

Users don't even have to be home to use this

DoorBot can be synced to multiple devices so

that all residents of one home can use it

DoorBot is priced at $200
