and frightening parts of a thunderstorm. It

is also one of the most powerful natural forces in the world.lightning

takes many lives every year.

-Thunder occurs at the same time as lightning. The lightning sparks,or

flash,heats the air around it to a temperature 5 times hotter than the surface of the sun. This makes the air expand at a super fast speed

and explode. This is thunder.
