KEY TAKEAWAYS

27 © Copyright 2013 Antenna Software, Inc. All rights reserved.

Confidential. Do not distribute.

• Customer- and employee-facing apps (B2E vs. B2C) are equally important across virtually all industries

• Mobile doesn’t need to be expensive as shown by the average investment hovering around $500k across multiple projects

• Most mobile projects are focused on mobilizing existing processes, but over time we’ll see a growing number of apps aimed at transforming business processes

• BYOD is alive and well, and still increasing in acceptance

• IT seen today as an enforcer, but will likely be seen as an enabler tomorrow as mobility grows in strategic importance

• The most common frustration with mobility is integrating with backend systems. It is the primary cause of projects being behind schedule and over budget
