All Assessments in 1 place for each family:

Assessment Navigation screen displays list of all assessments completed or in progress for a family.

Only 1 FFA created per family and cannot be deleted. All others (SA, FAST, CANS, YLS, LS) may have

multiples, but only 1 of each ‘in progress’ at a time. When creating a ‘YLS’, the “Individual” dropdown box

is enabled, required and populated with youth who are: Active Case Members. Age 12 through 18. Adjudicated as “Delinquency”.

For all except YLS, ‘delete’ hyperlink is only present when status for specified assessment = “In Progress”.

For YLS, once the record is scored, the user can not delete the YLS.

Assessment Security: Security rules govern who can

view/initiate/complete. CANS and YLS users require specialized training

and certification prior to their being given access (tracked outside TFACTS).

Thereafter, all assessment security is enforced as follows. Create: Assigned assessment worker(s) and their

supervisory hierarchy. Read: All DCS assessment workers and assigned non-

DCS workers. (except YLS which non-DCS workers are prohibited from viewing).

Update: Assigned assessment worker(s) and their supervisory hierarchy.

Delete: Assigned assessment worker(s) and their supervisory hierarchy.

A ‘report’ link is provided for each assessment; this link provides ability to generate/print a summary of the assessment.

A ‘document’ link is provided that will provide a means for user to scan and attach hard copy documents to the assessment record.
