Après-ski fun and Competition fever

Schladming, Austria in the focus of the international sports world. Losberger tents heat up the place.

Excitement at the end of the FIS Alpine World Ski Championship. The athletes strive to win the last medals in the slalom races. At the edge of the ski slope, the mood barometer is also rising. Inside the Losberger structures, thousands of enthusiastic sports fans are entertained. Next to successful ski athletes, representatives from sports, economy, culture, media and politics gather inside the “TirolBerg“ structure. For this purpose, the regional toursim marketing agency “Tirol Werbung GmbH“ especially rented the extraordinary, cubic-shaped Losberger temporary structure Palas – our newest and most innovative product.

Close to the winners‘ stage, the TirolBerg event structure welcomed its guests on two storeys in a unique atmosphere with traditional alpine hospitality. For more than ten years, the company “Tirol Werbung“ has been accompanying the Austrian Ski Federation (ÖSV) with the “TirolBerg“ during all world championships. This

meeting place has established itself over the years as a fixed part of the major ski events.

The two-storey Losberger Palas contributed to the host’s special feel-good ambience with sustainable energy aspects: double-skin thermo roof covers as well as insulating glass were used with the new, filigree horiziontal glass elements.

The all-round roof parapet with a 2.50 m height serves both as architectural feature and advertising platform.

Gösser Fan Arena inside Losberger structure

The TirolBerg wasn’t the only party location though. Numerous party highlights took place iside the huge Losberger VIP-structure “Gösser Fan Arena“ next to the ski racing course. With a total event area of approx. 3,500 m² on a length of 85 m (partly two-storied), the Gösser Fan Arena presented its guests all sorts of entertainment this year: a hospitality location equipped with four exclusive public areas, stunning charme and an absolute feel-good atmosphere.

The exclusive VIP-area in the upper floor provided guests an excellent view of the competitions, thanks to the large window fronts. Initiator of the project “Hospitality for Special Guests, Incentive and Fans“ was the Show Express Schladming GmbH.

VIP hospitality in Nove Mesto

World Championship for the Czech Republic. Losberger in the second round.

In February, the world's best biathletes met for the 46th

Biathlon World Championships held in the modernised and extended arena in Nove Mesto na Morave. From February 7 to 17, it was all about speed, perseverance and marksmanship. The popular event attracted thousands of winter sports fans in one of the Czech Republic's most important ski centres, and more than 100,000 tickets for the 8 days of competition were sold before the opening ceremony.

Only a two-hour drive away from Prague, the country's capital, the premiere of the Biathlon World Cup was celebrated in 2012, and this allowed the athletes and officials to acquaint themselves with the track and surroundings. Here, too, Losberger GmbH successfully erected a temporary VIP tent system last year. For the second time, the Losberger team turned out again in January and put up a tent on two levels for more than 1,000 VIP guests. This 40-metre-long structure is right beside the winter sports centre's big spectator stands. The long glass front elements of the Losberger Emporium allowed for an excellent view of the stadium and shooting range.

In spite of the enormous amounts of snow which fell on the high Bohemian-Moravian location during the erection work, building was completed on time. While the tracks still had to be made ready for the world's best biathletes,

Losberger's all-inclusive package ensured that the carpets for the guests were already laid and the toilet containers connected.

BOE Palas 10 x 10 m

Cube in new dimensions.

This year’s Best of Events exhibition in Dortmund, Germany – one of the most important shows in the event and live marketing industry – was the perfect environment to introduce Palas to a high-class audience. With its stylish cubic design, its light-flooded interior and generous branding opportunities, Palas must be placed on top of the consideration lists in the event and exhibition industry.

With a special small-sized version, which was completely redesigned just for the show, we impressed on site and simultaneously extended our product range with the newly developed ‘small’ version.

Chinese Formula 1 Grand Prix

Tent-extension for Roadshow-Trailer AUDI A8-RS The tent structure is an extension for a Roadshow-Trailer used at the Chinese Formula 1 Grand Prix in Shanghai and other races/racetracks across China. The trailer is serving not only as a 5-star-accommodation for the race-drivers, including huge flatscreens to follow the race, a complete kitchen and sofa, but also contains the race-car itself – an AUDI RS8. The tent-extension serves as exhibition space and/or service area for the racecar and can be installed double-sided or one-sided. Tent size: 2 x 9 x 12 m (P7 profile) The challenge was, that AUDI required a completely 'untouched' surface of the trailer. So all connections between tent and trailer had to be hidden. The frame cannot stand itself. There is no pole along the trailer's wall.

Thanks to the great teamwork of our technical department and the client’s engineers, we successfully delivered to this special needs. The canvas is printed according to AUDI's requirements and the transparent sections are in-line with AUDI's corporate design. The multiflex cassette flooring is additionally covered with a special plastic floor in AUDI-colour. The entire tent (frame and covers, not the floor) can be stored in special-designed racks inside the trailer. The project was a sales-order, the floor panels are rented from Losberger Shanghai for each race and the installations are done by Losberger's team. This deal does not only guarantee continuous cooperation throughout 2012 and 2013, it also has already created more inquiries for similar products. Thus, it’s a big success for Losberger Shanghai!

AUSTRALIAN INTERNATIONAL AIRSHOW 2013

The essential aviation, aerospace and defence showcase for Australia and the Asia Pacific Region.

The Asia Pacific region is undergoing major growth in defence and aviation, with budgets in many countries continuing to rise and an ever increasing level of sophistication in technologies, equipment, systems and operational methods. One of the leading gateways to these important markets is the Australian International Airshow 2013 staged at Avalon Airport, Geelong, Victoria, 60 km south of Melbourne. First held in 1992, the biennial show is one of the Asia Pacific's most influential and prestigious aviation, aerospace and defence events.

After 8 years of negotiations with Losberger, our customer Moreton Hire from Queensland finally decided to invest in new „Chalet line structures“ (term for all tent structures along the runway) for the 2013 event taking place from February 26 to March 3, in order to provide new hospitality structures for VIP’s and sponsors. Prior to the change, old Höcker structures had been used.

Moreton Hire was happy to receive a large-scale order for this year’s exhibition with the following scope of supply:

6 uniflex Arcum structures P3N 10,3/340 with a total length of 260 m, all with flooring, hard-PVC panels and doors. On top of these structures, 10 uniflex structures 10,3/340 x 5 m as well as 2 uniflex P3N Rondo 10,3/340 were delivered.

Besides this new scope of supply, the exhibition again took place in our 3 maxiflex 40 m structures with 290 linear metres on a covered area of approx. 12,000 m².

With the support of our Australian sales representative Elissa Gordon, EPL the organizer Aero Maritime decided to replace the roof and gable covers of the 40 m maxiflex structures by new thermo roof covers and they were very pleased with their choice. With this investment, the organizer hoped to avoid flapping of roof covers with the associated noise level inside the structures. This expectation was fully met, as Jochen Kolb, responsible Area Sales Manager for Australia learnt from Aero Maritime during his site visit prior to the show.

Another positive aspect in terms of future business prospects: The Victoria state government recently decided that the Airshow will be held for the next 10 years at the same location.

Mobile refrigerated solutions

Our Venezuelan customer Mobile Refrigerated Solutions Ltd. in La Victoria (www.mrs-500.com) is a company committed to solving the complex issue of commercial and industrial refrigeration. As a result, they have developed an innovative low-cost system for remote locations with quick adaptability and great mobile capacity.

Due to the fact that there is very low availability of cold storage warehouses in Venezuela and other Latin American countries, this is a clever solution which is well received particularly by beverage companies such as Coca Cola as well as food processing companies like Plumrose, McDonald’s, Nestlé, etc. They rented the structure for one and two years during which different companies are sharing the storage space.

All you need is a tent structure serving as warehouse, a special door for refrigeration, a mobile refrigeration unit (container) with a cooling unit and accessory. MRS offer their mobile refrigerated solutions e.g. as standard units of 500 m² or 600 m². The Losberger tent they have in their stock is a uniflex 20,3/400 x 25 m with insulated flooring, wall and suspended ceiling to create an appropriate cold room, purchased by Losberger Shanghai. A special flooring is used made of steel sheets to avoid cracks with 150 mm polyurethane panels for temperature preservation and with an iron plate to ensure a 2 ton/m² capacity. The entire cooling technology was purchased by the customer. Lowest temperatures of -30 °C with a possible variation between -10 °C and 0 °C can be achieved.

Advantages of cooling tents:

mobile quick installation rapid deployment

After the Haiti earthquake in 2010, the mobile refrigerated solutions were also applied. At the moment this customer has a new enquiry for 3 uniflex structures of 20,3/540 x 30 m. With this structure the customer will be able to offer different cooling zones with different temperature levels (deep frozen, frozen and refrigeration). In case of interest, our Venezuelan sales representative Ralph Seel ([email protected]) will be happy to provide further info to you in this matter. Should you wish to receive the video animation produced by MRS, please contact Katrin Kraft ([email protected]).

Popp’s Fountain

New Orleans City Park. The architect hired to execute a venue within City Park, had a vision for the new event space that was not being achieved with a standard tent.

He also had concerns that his existing vendor could safely produce the design that was agreed upon by both City Park of New Orleans and the state of Louisiana. This prompted the call to Losberger US.

After a review of the plans, we decided to take on the project but, with some major revisions. The engineering department in Germany reviewed the work proposed by the other tent company and made suggestions that needed to be addressed before we could design a building that would meet the requirements of the local building officials.

The result of a lot of hard work was the 20,5/490 x 25 m mono-pitch roof. The front wall has a towering 9 m to the ridge, the thermal roof panels and insulated back wall help with the hot New Orleans summers and the tent structure is built between two buildings that needed a bit of “creative guttering”.

Last but not least, this venue has been in use for almost two years and has survived two category-1 hurricanes.

This project was a huge test of engineering, production and installation and all people involved made it a success.

Show Season in the US

The winter months in the US are always a buzz with industry trade shows.

The tent and party rental professionals from around the US, as well as the world, gather to network and learn with vendors and clients and see what “the new thing” for the upcoming year will be.

2013 found the Losberger US crew heading to Orlando, Florida for the Industrial Fabrics Association International Tent Expo. The list of international attendees was long and the help from our colleagues from Germany and China was greatly appreciated.

The Losberger display this year was a 6 m P7 with dormer, apse, and triangle pieces. All the doughnut tent was missing was the coffee. Nevertheless, the show was a great success and the Losberger brand showed strong.

The Rental Show travelled west this year, back to Las Vegas, Nevada. Due to the cost of exhibiting, we decided to take a more creative approach. The display was a 12 m P7 Arcum but the twist came in the form of an alternative roof. Instead of a traditional cover, we added colour and showed off our crazy side. Air tubes created a great look that played into the theme for the show of “Feel the Losberger Love”. A contest held during the show allowed customers purchasing anything over the three days of the show to be entered into a drawing for a trip to INTERTENT this November. The contest brought in good numbers and we have a great company joining us this November.

New production facility for GEOCELL

To allow for an area-wide supply into their main markets Germany and Austria, GEOCELL Schaumglas GmbH, one of the market leaders in the industry of cellular glass brash, decided to invest into a new production facility in Knittlingen, Germany.

Losberger was chosen for the design and construction of their new hall, a 20 m wide and 48 m long steel construction. The given machine and factory dimensions required a necessary eave height of 8 metre.

During the complete construction phase, Losberger was asked to act as prime contractor. Thus, foundation planning, building of the hall itself to coordination of the adjoin office building and finally the roof penetration for the silo where delivered under one umbrella.

Due to special GEOCELL requirements (non-inflammable wall elements), we installed 80 mm and 60 mm sandwich panels as roof and wall covering. In only 5 weeks construction time, the complete hall was assembled and production could start beginning of May as planned.

More space for FIEGE

More than 5,000 m² additional storage area for FIEGE Logistics.

FIEGE, one of the strongest logistic companies in Europe had to face a choice: solid or lightweight construction? Two main criterias finally convinced FIEGE to invest in a lightweight building – swift implementation times plus flexibility for any future relocation of the building if needed.

After intensive negotiations, Losberger was asked to install two double-sided insulated steel halls with more than 5,000 m² of storage area at their branch in Bürstadt.

As the installation had to be done during running business, the start of the project was moved to mid of November. Despite complicated weather conditions, two 40m wide x 65 m long identical Steel System Halls were built in less than 10 weeks.

To serve as a multifunctional storage hall for changing freights, both halls are equipped with 80 mm sandwich panels for roof and facade areas. Vital for the client was also the opportunity to anchor the complete building with pegs. This is giving best flexibitlity to move the halls to any different future location if needed and react quickly dependent on various requirements.

Bakery café with drive-through opportunity

The Roden bakery in Bitburg/Eifel expanded its branch network with a 176 m² bakery café including a special customer-friendly feature: a drive-through window.

The design of the building required the creation of modules with a length of 11 m (for the drive-through module of 11.5 m) – the standard length of the module is only 6 m.

Such customized designs are not at all challenging for GRAEFF and are manufactured at the company's own production sites.

The building is painted in the company colours of the Roden bakery, contributing to the company's look and feel in the region.

Multipurpose solution for Müller

GRAEFF is the only company able to provide the combined solution – a modular connection of an office component with one of the steel halls from the GRAEFF range – all delivered through a single- source partner.

This is the very type of building that Müller, a company specializing in tank protection for buildings, based in the southwest of Germany, opted for.

We delivered a combination consisting of a TRANSFEREXPRESS fast assembly hall and a two-storey office wing based on our 3001 Plus office module.

A combined solution offers some essential benefits: office and hall can both be joined at any point and each part of the building can be expanded separately at a later date thanks to the modular design.

Stylish office for a travel agency

Amaro GmbH, based in Bremen, chose a modular solution from GRAEFF when constructing its new office building.

For a good reason! The 270 m² office space currently required will soon be insufficient, as the company is constantly growing.

The current single-storey solution was designed and built to accommodate a three-storey building – so Amaro can react at short notice, knowing that it can rely on GRAEFF to deliver.

The building combines generous window frontage with the elegant WELLDESIGN® appearance, which is a facade option often used for sophisticated buildings.

6.1 Losberger goes Brazil

Portrait of MVD Losberger, Brazil

The latest addition to the Losberger Family.

As we already informed you by e-mail on March 20, Losberger GmbH acquired a majority stake in MVD Eventos, backed by H.I.G. Europe. The newly formed company MVD Losberger Estruturas e Servicos S.A. kindly provided us with the following background information to introduce themselves to the Losberger Group.

Founded in January 2008 and located in the marvellous city of Rio de Janeiro, MVD Eventos is a consolidated company and leading tent rental company for Brazil’s premium event segment. The Managing Partners of MVD Eventos have extensive experience and long-term expertise in the Brazilian event industry.

“Through our engagement in the country’s most important events, we have been able to build up an excellent reputation. Since 2009, we have been participating in Brazil’s largest New Year’s Eve party by providing the entire stage structures, VIP-areas, dressing rooms and support. Since 2009, we have been

participating in the challenge of assembling the largest floating Christmas tree in the world, a real showpiece.

The Soccerex was a project developed by the engineering team together with the customer in 2010. The end result was 9 million square feet of tents on top of a structured floor ranging from 3.5 m to 7.0 m height which provides stunning views of the famous Copacabana beach for participants coming from all continents.

Another proof that we accept challenges: We designed and built a tubular structure with a length of 170 m and height of 18 m for the Humanity Project 2012, a parallel event to Rio + 20, which housed the main ecological discussion forums with the participation of the most important authorities on the planet.

In 2013 we joined the Losberger Group and are acting now under our new name MVD Losberger. Their high-quality event structures and engineering solutions will secure our position and we hope to participate together in the numerous major events coming up in Brazil, such as the Confederations Cup 2013, the World Youth Day (with the Pope’s visit), the World Cup 2014 and the Olympic Summer Games 2016.

Let's make this Joint Venture a real success!

7.2 Global Marketing

Website Project

A relaunch of all Losberger websites is planned for middle of 2013.

This will include all local adaptations on global level and will work for the complete Losberger Group.

It will be a complete makeover of our current web presence and a contemporary reflection of our brand development.

The global website relaunch is led by Dieter Schimmel (Losberger HQ), David MacArthur (Losberger US) and Matthieu Dujon (Losberger RDS).

Global Corporate Design guidelines

For a leading, globally acting company it is essential to maintain a consistent and coherent brand presence.

It acts as a guidance for clients as well as potential customers and guarantees a clear link for all target groups to the Losberger values and our core strength in every touchpoint. This is the only way to always be one step ahead of the competition and to convince clients that appreciate our ‚Losberger-Values‘.

A vital part of a consistent brand image is reflected within a companies Corporate Design (CD). It summarizes all creative and visual aspects of the brand management and assures a consistent, continious and regognizable image, internally and externally. It supports a global recognizability of the Losberger brand and differentiates us against competition.

To achieve this consistent brand image, a Corporate Design Manual was created some time ago, which is available to every company within the group. It guides everyone who is working with design professionally alongside our Corporate Design regulations.

Unfortunately this CD rules are disregarded from time to time, weakening our global image and the recognition of our service potential. Competitive differentiation is not followed through to it´s full extend and is finally decreasing our brand and negotiation power.

To position ourselves continiously as a premium partner and to demostrate our values and ambitions globally, everyone in charge of communication is asked to contribute to this intention in every possible way - by closely respecting the Losberger CD guidelines.

Event Tent Rental: Social Media Integration

Presence in Social Media channels is one thing. But how to get the right attention for this channels?

Communicating communication prominently! Simple stickers that are pinned at a prominent place of our exhibition booth, inclusion on the frontpage of the website, integrating the logos onto roll up banners, print ads, newsletters and mailings.

Simple things, but as we all know – it’s all about being at the right place, at the right time and talking to the right audience about relevant things. Integration and synergy effectively used to speak with one Losberger voice.

… and you are welcome to follow!

Print material and logos are available at the Fürfeld Marketing department: [email protected]

Event Tent Sales: Picture Postcard from P9

You‘ve got something to say. You‘ve got a perfect environment. You‘ve even got the right audience. But just not enough details to create any kind of communication material. And no time to wait until more information will be released.

So how to use the environment of the German INTERNORGA exhibition in Hamburg best to promote the new System cassette wall for multiflex P9?

Keep it small and simple! Perfectly handy and created as a take away piece of communication, a picture postcard was the ideal solution.

A distinctive drawing of the new wall element was used for the eyecatching front side, just accompanied by the words ‚Advance Notice!‘ to arouse curiosity.

On the back side we included the date of completion - which essentially was the almost definite information we had available at the time - together with an option to receive more information regularly via e-mail or post.

Marketing UK

Wordplay digitally shot.

In March this year, Losberger UK decided to create pre-season buzz especially to promote Cyclones for pop up stores, marketing and promotion events.

But how to impress professionals professionally?

As with all marketing campaigns, to be effective you need to speak to your audience in their own language and deliver content which is interesting and relevant to them.

So what’s best? Losberger UK Marketing created an E-shot that was sent to 14,000 targeted mailboxes. The message ‘Let’s think inside the Box’ is using a wordplay that is directly linked to the product, thus makes it relevant and gives a casual flavour.

Objectives of the campaign: Opportunity to add two more Cyclones to Lb UK’s rental stock as they are proving to be extremely popular in the UK rental market, they are small and convenient for inner city events and especially in shopping centres. Additionally, increase direct traffic to the website.

Marketing France SAS

‚Made in France‘

Once upon a time, a French company owning a modern and attractive manufacturing site, was thinking about how to better explain its customers the advantages and benefits of products entirely manufactured in France.

And this idea – just born during a meeting – has become reality. Indeed, we decided at the end of last summer to shoot a film on our premises, especially focussing on both workshops, to explain and show the birth of a pre-fabricated aluminium frame and fabric structure or building.

We hired an experienced local video company which is often working with industrial companies and therefore was accustomed to film in this environment. We had several internal meetings to create the script and all dialogues, spent a half day to film outside and another complete day for the interviews and all the inside views, operatives on workstations, machinery, etc…

Once everything was in the box, the next steps were the video editing, selecting and adding nice pictures, choosing the music, writing the texts for the voice over and selecting the opening and closing credits.

The film has been presented on our booth during the tradeshow SMCL, during our Open House Day, uploaded on our website and YouTube and each collaborator at Losberger France got a DVD.

The direction of this video was not only a great technical challenge, above all it was an amazing human adventure. Indeed it clearly appeared that especially the operative teams were extremely proud to show their know-how, skills and experience.

Proud to be Losberger, proud to produce quality “made in France”!

Marketing RDS

When in Rome, do as the Romans do.

Losberger RDS participated at the IDEX 2013 in Abu Dhabi, from the 17th to the 21st of February. This was the perfect way of getting our Losberger RDS team in direct touch to numerous of potential middle east customers for military shelters, hangars and airports.

Direct contact to customers from this segment is essential and almost the only way to a later sales opportunity.

During the show, we had the opportunitiy to even meet the heads of the Operation offices of the French army in EAU and could convince them to deploy and test our TAG NG 42 and TCNG 36, two inflatable tents. This will hopefully be a very good start for future sales agreements.

The turnkey solution for military Headquaters – a combination of tent and structures – delivers the perfect environment and optimal work conditions for the forces. This solution has definitely impressed and was highly appreciated by EAU army officers, and we expect to have returns very shortly.

For many years, multiflex has been available with cassette hard wall systems for the P7 series. However, this was always missing for the P9 series, though the relevance was growing over time. 9.1 Launch of Canvas Production, South Africa

Losberger PVC-fabric Production in South Africa

Custom Structures CC, South Africa extends scope of services – Launch of Canvas Production. Erik Kübler, our well-experienced colleague of the Fürfeld Canvas Production Department, kindly wrote a report on the occasion of his on-site visit to Guy de Jongh, Custom Structures CC, Johannesburg in February 2013 to share his impressions with us. Thanks, Erik for these interesting insights into the PVC-fabric processing!

Those who know Guy de Jongh will have realised that he is not one for half-measures. In launching his canvas production Guy has spared no expense, investing in high quality machines with a wide area of application. Having the full complement of equipment on site made it easy to conduct the training and then to commence production. Besides new fabric production the scope of services includes repairs as well as custom solutions for PVC-covers. Guy's customers will benefit from the experience he gained with MPR Hiring, providing excellent service.

As Guy de Jongh is the representative for Verseidag fabric in South Africa, he has all of the commonly purchased Verseidag fabrics in stock, ensuring smooth, rapid order processing. Guy is also the representative of the renowned Sinclair wedge welder for PVC-coated fabrics and transparent films, sold worldwide. But let's get started now! It’s 10 a.m. when my plane reaches Johannesburg from Frankfurt. In fact, in Germany it’s winter but here in South Africa it is midsummer and a temperature shock lies ahead of me. Guy de Jongh has been waiting for me at the airport exit to take me to his new canvas production facility. We knew each other from a one-week training in Fürfeld where we implemented the planning and setting up of the machines. And off we go. When we arrive at his premises I was surprised to see that Guy actually purchased more machines than we had discussed, e.g. a keder-fabric roll cutting machine to cut the keder flag to the desired width as well as a keder welding machine which can produce double or single keder flags. These are really useful, enabling Guy to be independent of subcontractors. A craftsman, through and through! With the courage to strike a new path. It takes a great deal of courage to set up a canvas production facility for someone whose experience is essentially in other areas of the industry. Guy, Louis and Dayne have been working for the first time with textiles, but their craft skills are noticeable. The three of them are not afraid of working with sewing-machines, although on the last day of training they were replaced by a sewing worker. Guy focussed on quality with the sewing machines too and purchased a Juki two-needle sewing-machine as well as a Global long arm sewing machine. I was particularly impressed by the fully automatic belt cutting machine; this is not a matter of course in a canvas production, but the centrepiece of any canvas production facility is the cutting table: A model in solid design along with a cutting machine are ready for use. Right opposite is the high-frequency welding machine including various electrodes.

Contents scheduled for the training were: The production of side walls, roof covers, gables

and repair of tent covers as well as the correct calculation of the fabric cutting plus the reading of Losberger’s technical cover drawings.

Arrangement of sequences in which the working

steps are to be performed and the selection of appropriate tools.

Practical exercises with the sewing and welding

machines in order to gain a feeling for the raw materials.

Finally we started with real orders. Craftsmanship is something you either do or do not have and Guy and his team have it. They had already started with roof covers pior to my arrival which we then completed together. Next, we produced tent gables which requires precise calculation of cuttings. This also worked very well. They carefully studied the sewing work for the gable and practiced diligently. Even the Company Director, Guy de Jongh, wanted to know every small detail of the sewing and set down himself at the sewing machine – with significant success. The side walls have their own intricacies in the production process, but with a welded-in window one really has to know all the skills. For me, the welded-in Losberger window in side walls is something very special. It takes more time to weld in a window into a side wall, but its quality can’t be compared to the usual windows on the market. Guy’s team were not prepared to make compromises in the field of welded-in windows. They were eager to learn and practice.

Mission accomplished!

After one week of intensive training I can fly back home with an easy conscience. Everything has been explained and demonstrated at the canvas production facility so that Guy and his team can now take care of their customers. Of course, we’ll stay in touch after the training in order to discuss any questions. It’s time to say goodbye and I’ll find it hard to swap South African summer with its mild temperatures for winter. At this point, I would like to particularly thank Dawn and Derek de Jongh, who welcomed me to their home like a very good friend. Many thanks! The plane is waiting, see you! Erik Kübler
