I used Adobe Photoshop CC 2015 to make my front cover, contents page and my double page spread. It allowed me to use a range of tools such as magic wand, shapes and effects. The moment I downloaded a font, it showed up on Photoshop so I was able to use the font I downloaded without any trouble. I was also able to keep the font when I opened my psd file even on computers without the font installed on it.

Also, Photoshop allows you to change the styles of the font to make them all look unique. With this software there’s a wide range of tools that enables you to create something distinctive, for example, I was able to create a gradient for me masthead background and completely change the background of my from cover from white to purple.

FONTThis is a screenshot of the installation process for the font I am going to use for the masthead for my magazine. The font I chosen after my media research was ‘Big Drama’. I downloaded the font from www.dafont.com and installed it onto my computer. I thought this was a good font to use for the masthead because it looks ‘distressed’ but you’re also able to clearly read the text.

Dafont had thousands of fonts for me to look at and enabled me to choose the right font for my music magazine. It has the best types of fonts for anything you’re looking for and the installation process is easy and fast.
