On the other hand, it also entails a large potential for economic development in Europe, in industrialised processes for maintenance, repair, upgrade, disassembly and recycling. Additionally, reusing materials instead of producing industrial itemsfromprimaryrawmaterialsmassivelylowerstheenergyconsumptionofindustry.Ifmanaged right, the Circular Economy can reconcile the objectives of employment in industry, of climate protection and of mineral resources preservation. This panel will explore how these objectives can be reached.
