Construction of 330 kV transmission substation Bitenai. End user AB “LITGRID”

Telecommunications RTU Relay protection and

automation

Construction of Bitenai switchyard at the border with Kaliningrad was a strategic site

for Lithuania. The switchyard is necessary for consumers in Western Lithuania to receive

electricity through the grid located in Lithuania. So far power lines at Bitenai were

stretched from Lithuania to Kaliningrad region and from there – to Lithuania.

Main contractor was “Empower”, UAB they choose “Aedilis”, UAB as their

subcontractor for telecommunications, RTU and relay protection parts;

Telecommunications:

UAB „Aedilis“ did a detailed design for SDH and PDH networks, which was used to

transmit data to SCADA system;

All installation and configuration works were completed by our team;

We supplied all equipment for telecommunications;

RTU:

In this substation we were programming and commissioning a Siemens Sicam AK 1703

ACP controller with data collection by IEC 61850 protocol.

Relay protection and automation:

UAB „Aedilis“ in this project did part of relay protection and automation commissioning

works. The Siemens 6MD6641, 7SJ6471 relays were configured using IEC 61850

protocol;

Reconstruction of TR46-5 transformer substation. End user AB “Lietuvos

gelezinkeliai” (Lithuanian railways)

SCADA RTU Relay protection and

automation

TR46-5 is transformer substation of Lithuanian railways located in Siauliai. Project

task was to reconstruct this substation changing all 10kV cubicles, installing new RTU

system and transmit all data to existing SCADA system;

Main contractor was “Liumenas”, UAB they choose “Aedilis”, UAB to complete all

commissioning tasks for this substation.

RTU:

UAB “Aedilis” team supplied a cubicle of RTU with Siemens AK 1703 ACP controller in

this project. Did a commissioning of RTU and detailed design;

Relay protection and automation:

UAB “Aedilis” team did commissioning of all relays;

SCADA:

We integrated TR46-5 transformer substation in existing Siemens PowerCC SCADA;

Reconstruction of 110 kV transformer substation Valkininkai (Replacement of

110 kV circuit breaker with switch . End user AB “Litgrid”

Telecommunications RTU

Replacement works of 110 kV circuit breaker with switch completed in 110 kV

transformer substation Valkininkai. New equipment for relay protection and automation,

RTU, telecommunications systems were provided. Main contractor in this project was

UAB “Tetas” they choose UAB “Aedilis” as sub-contractor for RTU and

telecommunications parts.

RTU:

UAB “Aedilis” team supplied a cubicle of RTU with Siemens AK 1703 ACP controller in

this project. Did a commissioning of RTU and detailed design;

Relay protection and automation:

UAB “Aedilis” team did commissioning of all relays;

Telecommunications:

Our team installed and configured a radio relay system in this site;

Reconstruction of 110 kV transformer substation Griskonys (Replacement of 110

kV circuit breaker with switch . End user AB “Litgrid”

Telecommunications RTU Relay protection

and automation SCADA

Replacement works of 110 kV circuit breaker with switch completed in 110 kV

transformer substation Griskonys. New equipment for relay protection and automation,

RTU, telecommunications systems were provided. Main contractor in this project was

UAB “Elektromontuotojas” they choose UAB “Aedilis” to complete all commissioning

tasks for this substation.

RTU:

UAB “Aedilis” team supplied a cubicle of RTU with Siemens AK 1703 ACP controller in

this project. Did a commissioning of RTU and detailed design;

Relay protection and automation:

UAB „Aedilis“ in this project did all commissioning works of relay protection and

automation. The Siemens 7SJ6471 relays were configured;

Telecommunications:

Our team installed and configured a radio relay system in this site;

Design:

UAB “Aedilis” team did a design for all engineering parts for this substation;

Construction of 10/0, 4 kV distribution substation Klaipeda (SP-62). End user

UAB “Klaipedos arena” (Arena of Klaipeda)

Telecommunications RTU

Automated system

monitoring and

SCADA

Purpose of this construction was to connect new user to the grid. Main contractor was

UAB “Elmonta” they choose UAB “Aedilis” for works of telecommunications and RTU

parts.

RTU:

UAB “Aedilis” team supplied a cubicle of RTU with Siemens AK 1703 ACP controller in

this project. Did a commissioning of RTU and detailed design;

Automated system for power resources monitoring and accounting:

Our team assembled a cubicle for automated system for power resources monitoring and

accounting with MDC1.01 controller and did a commissioning works;

Telecommunications:

UAB “Aedilis” supplied all fiber equipment for telecommunications and did a

commissioning;

SCADA:

We integrated new distribution substation (SP-62) in existing ABB MicroSCADA system;

“Dolomitas”

Purpose of this substation was to connect wind farm owned by AB “Dolomitas” to the

grid. Main contractor was UAB “Liumenas” they choose UAB “Aedilis” to complete all

commissioning task for this substation.

RTU:

UAB “Aedilis” team supplied a cubicle of RTU with Siemens AK 1703 ACP controller in

this project. Did a commissioning of RTU and detailed design;

Automated system for power resources monitoring and accounting:

Our team assembled a cubicle for automated system for power resources monitoring and

accounting with MDC1.01 controller and did a commissioning works;

Telecommunications:

UAB “Aedilis” supplied all fiber equipment for telecommunications and did a

commissioning;

SCADA:

We integrated TR46-5 transformer substation in existing Siemens PowerCC SCADA;

“Litgrid”

Telecommunications RTU Relay protection and

automation

Transformers, switches and relay protection and automation systems were replaced

in this substation. Main contractor was UAB “Hidroelektromontazas” they choose UAB

“Aedilis” to complete all commissioning tasks for this substation.

RTU:

UAB “Aedilis” team supplied a cubicle of RTU with Siemens AK 1703 ACP controller in

this project. Did a commissioning of RTU and detailed design;

Telecommunications:

UAB “Aedilis” supplied all Ethernet based equipment for telecommunications and did a

commissioning;

Relay protection and automation::

UAB “Aedilis” team did commissioning of all relays;

Reconstruction of 35/10 kV part in 110/35/10 kV substation N.Akmene. All old

equipment was changed by new one, 7 new substations were integrated in SCADA

system. Main contractor UAB “Siemens Osakeyhtio Lithuania” chooses UAB “Aedilis” to

complete all commissioning task for this substation;

RTU:

UAB “Aedilis” team assembled a cubicle of RTU with Siemens AK 1703 ACP, TM1703ACP

controllers in this project. Did a commissioning of RTU and detailed design;

Automated system for power resources monitoring and accounting:

Our team assembled a cubicle for automated system for power resources monitoring and

accounting with MDC1.01 controller and did a commissioning works;

Telecommunications:

UAB “Aedilis” supplied all radio equipment for telecommunications and did a detailed

design and commissioning;

Relay protection and automation:

UAB “Aedilis” team did commissioning of all relays;

Dispatcher panel:

Our team designed, assembled and commissioned a dispatcher panel for control room;

Reconstruction of 110/10 kV transformer substation Baksiai. End user UAB

“Lesto”

Telecommunications RTU Automated system for power

resources monitoring and accounting

Reconstruction of 10 kV part in 110/10 kV substation Baksiai. Replacement of all

relay protection and automation cubicle. Main contractor was UAB “Siemens Osakeyhtio

Lithuania” they choose UAB “Aedilis” to complete all commissioning task for this

substation.

RTU:

UAB “Aedilis” team assembled a cubicle of RTU with Siemens AK 1703 ACP, TM1703ACP

controllers in this project. Did a commissioning of RTU and detailed design;

Telecommunications:

UAB “Aedilis” supplied all Ethernet based equipment for telecommunications and did all

design and commissioning;

Automated system for power resources monitoring and accounting:

Our team assembled a cubicle for automated system for power resources monitoring and

accounting with MDC1.01 controller and did a commissioning works;

Wind farm Lauksargiai

Telecommunications RTU WebSCADA Relay monitoring system

Purpose of this 110/20 kV substation was to connect wind farm to the grid. Main

contractor was UAB “Siemens Osakeyhtio Lithuania” they choose UAB “Aedilis” to

complete all commissioning task for this substation.

RTU:

UAB “Aedilis” team assembled a cubicle of RTU with Siemens AK 1703 ACP, TM1703ACP

controllers in this project. Did a commissioning of RTU and detailed design;

Telecommunications:

UAB “Aedilis” supplied all radio equipment for telecommunications and did a detailed

design and commissioning;

Relay monitoring system:

Installation and commissioning of relay monitoring systems, equipment supply;

WebSCADA :

Our team created a solutions with netbiter WebSCADA for remote monitoring;

AB "Lietuvos gelezinkeliai" railway sector Siauliai – Klaipeda. End user AB

“Lietuvos gelezinkeliai” (Lithuanian railways)

Telecommunications RTU SCADA Relay protection and

automation

This project contained reconstruction of 17 substation in railway sector between

cities Siauliai and Klaipeda. New systems for telecommunication and SCADA were

installed. UAB “Siemens Osakeyhtio Lithuania” they choose UAB “Aedilis” to complete all

commissioning task for this project.

RTU:

UAB “Aedilis” team assembled a cubicle of RTU with Siemens AK 1703 ACP and eRTU

controllers in this project. Did a commissioning of RTU and detailed design, provided

courses for clients;

Telecommunications:

UAB “Aedilis” supplied all Ethernet based equipment for telecommunications and did all

design and commissioning;

Relay protection and automation:

UAB “Aedilis” team did commissioning of all relays;

SCADA :

Our team did a configuration and commissioning of Siemens PowerCC SCADA system.

Courses for clients how to use this system were provided;
