Sally went to the mall with a total of $10.00.

• She went in many of the stores, but could not find anything to buy.

• Sally bought an ice cream cone for $2.00 and sat at a table to rest.

After eating her ice cream, she saw friends

from her class at school.

Sally and her friends bought matching shirts for their school dance on Friday for $3.00.

She decided to look in one last store before she went home. She went into the puppy

store! She had $ 5.00 left.

She saw many cute dogs, but she knew her parents would not be happy if she did not

ask them first.

She knew there would be other days!
