Action Notes
Point and Click your mouse on the “Notes” tab on the New Action page
Click here to begin recording any Notes on the
Action
Action Notes
Things to include in the Action “Notes” section Use as much detail as you would like Donor Intelligence
What was discussed during phone conversations Copies of E-mail conversations Minutes of Meetings held
These Notes MUST be recorded Failure to do so will shine a negative light on YOU and the
ORGANIZATION It also keeps others out of the loop It is important to keep track of what has already taken place
It is IMPORTANT to remember that Notes about a specific Action should be kept with that specific action NOT in the Notes tab of the constituent’s file
Save and Close
It is important to SAVE all information when you are done editing the Action Notes page Once you are done with the Notes, click the “Save and
Close” Button to save it before closing
When you are back at the General Action page, click on the “Save and Close” button at the top left to Save the new data to the constituent’s main record and close the file.
Click here to save all updated
information to the constituent's
main record and close the file
