1. iOS is derived from OS X .2. Founder were Steve Wozniak, Steve Jobs. 3. Developed and distributed by APPLE.inc.4. Released in 2007 for the iPhone and iPod Touch.5. Extended to support iPad and Apple TV.

4. Current IOS version is 6.0 and 6.0.1 will be released soon.
