weightage of 2 years in E2A grade, i.e. they will be allowed a seniority weightage of 2 years in the eligibility period for promotion to next grade of E3.

For General/OBC(NCL): 65%
For SC/ST/PwD: Pass Marks* Or Equivalent CGPA. • CGPA shall be converted into percentage as per the formula provided by the Institute• Shortlisting of candidates for campus interview shall be done on the basis of CGPA/
Percentage till last/ 2nd semester of M. Tech. • Ph. D. (Electrical) candidates will be shortlisted separately.

ExperienceIn case of Ph. D. candidates Experience of one year or more is desirable (Academic/Research experience acceptable)
Upper Age Limit
28 years for M.Tech and 35 years for Ph.D as on 31.12.2013
Seniority Weightage of 2 years shall be given to Ph. D. candidates in eligibility period for consideration for promotion to E3 level i.e. they will be eligible for consideration for promotion from standard date as applicable after satisfactory completion of 1 yr. probation period
In case of SC/ST/PwD candidates only pass marks required at BE/B.Tech level.For PwD the posts is identified suitable for OH-OL/ HH-PD type of disability.
Upper age limit is relaxable for reserved categories i.e. 3 years for OBC(NCL), 5 years for SC/ST and 5 years over & above category age limit for PwD.
