It only takes a moment

A moment to realize

Who we are

Where we’re going

And what we want to be

But it also takes a moment

One moment

To forget

Who we are

What we want

And where we’re going from here.

A moment

Life is a bookFilled with many stories

Adventure, comedy, horror, romance and mystery

That’s why we yearn to turn a page

To be immersed in a new chapter

Life

One day I’ll standAbove the clouds

I’ll reach out And touch the stars above

No one may seeOr even hear

But I’ll be thereUp in the air.

Reach

Tears are joyfulTears are sad

They make us worryOr even mad

So shed a tear but Remember dear

A tear is both sorrow and also fear.

On a cold misty nightI stand

No one offers me a handThe chilling airThat graces me

I flinch backAs it pierces me

The shadows swirl And the clouds move back

A silver robePasses by entrapped

I shrink back

In the night

From the moon’s glareIt covers me

And leaves me bareThe hoot of an owl catches on

Its who, who, who answers my songI fold my armsAnd take a step

My breath catchesAnd then all is still

I shiver And walk on

The moon’s glare is now gone.

In the night Continued

A ray of sunshineThat’s all I long forIt passes my heart

Like it passes my dreamsI long to see a tiny ray

I long to feel it’s golden appealHave you seen a ray of sunshine

Or can it be just meImaginary?

A ray of sunshine

Everyone wants to be somebodyBut no one wants to try

They don’t want to see the things that matterThe things that make you cry

They go on outAnd do the things

That matter to themAnd leave behind the things that truly matter

the most.

Be somebody

Goodbye, farewellI bid Adieu

For now I leaveAnd say to you

Be the one that you know is trueBe the one that is you!
