� Began June 15, 2007 with consent/waiver by participating patent applicants
� ~1 year period to submit new apps to pilot
� 250 published patent applications from USPTO Tech Center 2100 (software)
� 4 month comment period
� 10 best prior art references forwarded to patent examiner with commentary
� Examination advanced to top of examiner queue
