Personal Users will be able to authorize Pure as a ‘trusted organisation’ and export content to ORCID. Only Personal Users (or their trusted users in Pure) can authorize the export of content from Pure to ORCID.

Content exported includes:

•  Other identifiers (Scopus Author ID, Researcher ID, Digital Author ID)

•  Limited organisational affiliation information

•  Institutional affiliation (along with the City and Country of the organisation)

•  End date of affiliation (if a former member of staff)

•  Pure Portal URL (if enabled in the configuration)

•  Research outputs

•  Publication state = ePub ahead of print + Published

•  Visibility = Public

•  Workflow status = configurable

ORCID and Elsevier Decision  to  integrate  with  ORCID  -­‐    Opportunity  to  provide  value  to  our  customers.    As  an  authoritaMve  source  of  trusted  and  disambiguated  content,  Pure  can  offer  users  the  facility  to  greatly  enhance  their  ORCID  record,  accurately  a"ribuMng  all  of  their  research  outputs  (and  DOIs,  where  applicable)  to  their  ORCID  ID.”      ORCID  iDs  in  Elsevier  pla>orms  -­‐          ORCID  are  being  used  for  searching  (Scopus)  –  to  idenMfy  authors.  In  Pure,  users  can  link  their  Pure  profile  to  their  ORCID  ID,  can  export  content  to  ORCID,  and  when  imporMng  from  Scopus,  can  use  ORCID  ID  as  a  search  parameter.  SciVal  –  to  be  confirmed      Process  for  helping  your  customers  use  ORCID  -­‐      MulMple  layers  of  assistance  –  through  the  plaZorms  themselves,  through  help  desk  contacts  and  also  on  the  ground  local  staff.      Help  with  outreach  to  your  customer’s  users  -­‐    Along  with  markeMng  assistance  and  training,  Elsevier  has  on  the  ground  staff  (CCs)  who  can  provide  outreach  and  assistance  to  users.
