It's 2013... This is going to be a massive year for digital... as the speed of innovation continues to increase, each year is bigger than the last and I think everyone agrees that 2012 was huge! At OMN we're ready to celebrate this digital explosion with a series of events in 2013 that will focus on the bleeding edge of online, and how it's affecting us as marketers. The first of these events, on the 17th Jan, is aimed at online brands, digital startups and marketing specialists. The 'startup state of mind' is defined as the agile, process driven business methodology that comes from the tech focused product dev foundation of many of today’s startups. This methodology is all about iterative shortened product releases and scientific experimentation, and the premise of the evening is that this can translate perfectly into marketing project/campaign cycles. Startups require rapid growth in often crowded marketplaces… that’s what every brand is looking for too, and this evening is to stimulate discussion between brands, startups and agency specialists with the goal of mutual learning from the startup state of mind and how it can work in a marketing context.
