The Center for Energy and Environment (CEE) is a
nonprofit organization that promotes energy efficiency to
strengthen the economy while improving the
environment
• We conduct research and develop programs so that:
• Businesses operate more efficiently and profitably;
• Government agencies and nonprofits spend less on facilities
and functions;
• Utilities achieve their energy-efficiency goals at least-cost; and
• Households save money and improve comfort.

Rebate Reminders
• Exterior lighting is eligible
• Can include wall packs, canopy lighting, soffit lighting,
pedestrian path lighting, pole lighting and signage
• CFL’s no longer rebated
• Exception: Rebate available where no other viable
replacement technology (40% cap) - Rare
• Example: Currently not a viable replacement for 100W
incandescent
• Auditor has final approval – please ask

Application of Energy Independence
and Security Act (EISA) Standards
• Set new efficiency standards for general service
fluorescent and incandescent lamps
• Non-compliant fluorescent lamps no longer
manufactured as of July 2012
• Incandescent wattages phased out
• Eliminated most T12 and common incandescent lamps
• Some exceptions
• Cold weather applications
• Impact resistant lamps

LED’s on 2/1/15
• Rebate received at POP (participating distributor)
• Must be ENERGY STAR®-qualified lamps/retrofit kits
