Windows Movie Maker is a video editing software.

Windows Movie Maker allows you to:

edit your videos delete some parts of your videos add text in your videos add transitions add music in the video add credits at the end of your movie make a photo slideshow

To add photos and videos

To add music

Insert titles, captions, subtitles and credits

Add zooming effects to your pictures

Add transitions

Add visual effects such as:

-Sepia tone-Threshold-Posturize your picture-Black and white-Make it spin 360°

1) Let’s start with a photo.

2) Click on ‘Add videos and photos’

3) Choose one photo from the thumbdrive given to you.

1) Let’s try doing a photo slideshow.

2) Click on ‘Add videos and photos’.

3) Add another 4 photos from your thumbdrive.

Let’s start playing your video and see how it looks like first.

Start from the first photo.Click on this button to view your video

1) Click on the ‘Animations’ tab.

2) Choose one of the transition and from the ‘Pan and zoom’

2) Click on ‘Add videos and photos’

3) Choose one video from the thumbdrive given to you.

Once you add the video, you will see it like this

Once you add the video, you will also notice a new tab called the ‘Video Tools’

This is where you edit

What if you do not like the start of the video?

Or if you want the video to start a bit later?

1) Play your video until where you want it to start

2) Go to the ‘Video Tools’ Tab.

3) Click on ‘Set Start Point’.

Your video will now start at the new timing

Now let’s try ending the video earlier.

Repeat the same steps. 1)Play the video until where you wants it to end.2)Go to the ‘Video Tools’ tab.3)Click ‘Set End Point’ now.

Repeat the same steps.

1)Play the video until where you want to split it.2)Go to the ‘Video Tools’ tab.3)Click ‘Split’

Click on ‘Titles’ to add.

Click on the screen to edit the text

When you add titles, you will notice a new tab ‘Text Tools’

Here you can change the:font style, font size, background colour, make the text bold, italic and You can also choose how long you want the title to appear

You can choose how you want the text to appear during the movie.

Finally when you are done:

Click on ‘Save Movie ‘ and select ‘For Computer’’

You can share your video with your friends online.Just click on which website you want to publish it to.

You need to create a short advertisement of about 2 -3 minutes.

The advertisement should be on Handphones.

You may use the photos and videos that is provided in the thumbdrive.

Your advertisement must include photos, videos and titles.
