Protection nuts These cover nuts with thermal protection glass disc can be used with all photoelectric sensors.
The glass disc protects the optics from mechanical and thermal damage such as in the vicinity
of weld splatter. For added ruggedness the cover nut is made of stainless steel, thereby offering
even better protection for the sensor optics. The thermal protection glass lies flush with
the front of the nut. This prevents dust from accumulating which could otherwise result in
reduced working range.

protectors, so that they are now interchangeable.
This is a great advantage for customers since it
reduces the time required to replace a defective
or dirty protector – without having to change
the sensor settings.
