Navigating the Quality Administrator site(how to add a new User)

This is the Administrator Control Panel

There are lots of options that look scary but it’s ok.

We use only 2 principal items

They are both located under ‘Components’

Hover your mouse over ‘Components’

The 2 Components we use are:

Community Builder for User Accounts

And Kunena Forum for the Forum

To add a new User:

Click on ‘Community Builder’ then ‘User Management’

You should see CB User Manager

Click on New

This is the Create New User screen

Here are the Save & Cancel buttons

Here are the 3 data tabs: Portrait, Projects, and Contact Info

Portrait: You can upload a photo (or let them do it)

Projects: You can select their Task Forces

(or let them do it)

Contact info: You can add their info

You must enter data in the 4 blue boxes

The server checks e-mails & usernames automatically

It’s ok for the email address to be uncheckable

Moving on…

Use password as the Password & Verify Password entries

Complete the ‘Hospital’ and ‘Academic Institution’ fields

Everything else is automated

Click Save

You should have a Success sign

The server automatically e-mails the new account information

By the way, you can e-mail everyone all at once using Mass Mail
