LAUNCHING SPINVOX, A REVOLUTIONARY NEW

MOBILE SERVICE

THE CHALLENGENever one to shy away from a good challenge, we were asked to launch a completely new service, Spinvox - the world’s first voicemail-to-text-service.

The campaign needed to educate audiences and drive take-up of the SpinVox service among mobile users, retailers, distributors and businesses.

We got the message.

WHAT WE DID

And devised a corporate programme to drive industry take-up

We created a two pronged approach

We targeted consumers to drive sales

HOW IT WORKED

We set up briefings with key influential ‘gate keepers’ to educate them and get their buy in for this new technology.

We then identified and created award entries for relevant awards, to build credibility...

We also set up an ambassador program and invited journalists to sign up to it.

RESULTS

90 pieces of national and trade coverage SpinVox won ‘Best Innovative Service’ at the Mobile News Awards

Christina Domecq was shortlisted for the ‘Technology Entrepreneur of the Year’ at the UK Technology, Innovation and Growth Awards

SpinVox was named one of the UK’s Top 50 to Watch by Real Business magazine

73 high profile journalists signed up as part of ambassador programme

Over 80% of all consumers who trialled the service went on to sign up

Distribution deals with 3 Mobile, The Carphone Warehouse, The Link, Comet, Hugh Symons and 4u Business were set up

Our PR campaign was such a success we won the CNET Awards
