Why a focus on your locality?

• Without knowing your locality you cannot begin to address WASH governance or sustainability issues

• What do we mean by ‘your locality’?

• Your locality is the area of jurisdiction of your local government entity

• There are many issues you need to know, for example how many consumers, are they in rural or urban areas, what can they afford, what water is available, is the infrastructure working or not, is there sufficient revenue to cover costs, etc?
