The world is full of weird things and we all have witnessed them once in awhile. But had they compelled us so much that we end up celebrating them as special days? Well it will be a shock to know that almost every day of the year comes with a special day tag and many people around the world celebrate these weird days. Let’s check out some of the weirdest days of each month of the year that you can celebrate in the funny way:

Exactly! We too thought the same way you are thinking. People celebrate this day by measuring their foot, which means every year this day you can measure your foot to see how much growth it has gained during a year. It is celebrated on the 23rd of January every year and its origin is unknown as of now.

Don’t Laugh! Respect that person who created this day celebrated every year on 15th February, right after the Valentine’s Day. Slap Day marks the beginning of Anti-Valentine’s week that ends with Break-up day being celebrated on 21st February. September 18 is the day when people celebrate Ceiling Fan Day every year. In fact, a complete week is celebrated wherein the fan manufacturers provide big discounts on fan sales, including the designer kids ceiling fans you can purchase to decorate the room of your kid. But on a serious note – Are we really in for the celebration of such days? In that case, we should also mark the beginning of Bulb Day, Tubelight Day, Washing Machine Day, et al.

November 24th is the day when Charles Darwin’s book – On the origin of Species – was published in the year 1859 and with it came the theory that our ancestors were monkeys. Well, we don’t know the complete truth and believing the science blindly, we will celebrate this day as our evolution is certainly an important event to be remembered. Why? Who? How? We really were shocked to see that such stupid days do exist. For a second, we thought that this is some spelling error and the day must be – Wear Others Shoes Day – but we were wrong. Yes, every 6th December is ‘Put Your Own Shoes Day’, wherein you have to put your own shoes for the complete day. Wait! So were we wearing someone else’s shoes for the whole year? Holy Cow!
