Retro Claisen rearrangement
- Process was optimized with 60 g/h productivity- 480 g/h productivity was reached after the process intensification
ACS Sustainable Chem. Eng., 2016, 4 (4), pp 1912–1916
Soluble polyphoshides:- Fascinating reactivity- Precursors of high performance materials
- 2D semiconductors- Lithium-ion battery anodes
Batch synthesis:- Solution based method requires the use of white phosphorous- Solid-state method is limited on scope- Difficult to isolate them
Red phosporus activation
5 h of continuous operation, we obtained 150 mL of 0.03M polyphosphidesolution

Nucleophilic aromatic substitution of heterocycles
Tet. Lett. 57 (2016) 1035–1039
DoE optimimum (225oC,
0.5 ml/min, 12MPa) resulted
97% isolated yield
Substrate scope of the reaction
All reactions were carried out inethanol. The reaction stoichiometrywas 0.063 mmol of chlorocompound and 0.125 mmol ofamines, which were used as 0.25 Msolutions. In a 1-dram vial, 0.25 mLof 2-chloroquinazoline and 0.5 mL ofamine were premixed. The reactionmixture was introduced into thePhoenix Flow ReactorTM via a 1 mLinjection loop.
