  Lecturers will outline models, lead through the case study and provide the IT Master Builder solution

  Participants will learn in small working groups and apply the models to a case study

  Participants learn about Banking and IT Trends and how to identify those that are relevant

  The IT Master Builder program will introduce strategy frameworks like PESTL, Porters’ five forces, Value Disciplines and Blue Ocean strategy and show how to apply them in the context of the business strategy interpretation and vision creation

  The participants will learn about a comprehensive IT landscape of a bank and respective tools to manage and document it

  The program introduces into the role of standard software and core banking systems

  The participants will learn about stakeholder maps, MBTI and BELBIN and gain knowledge about how to manage stakeholders, lead people and build high performance teams

About Iain MacLennan

Iain is an Executive Director with over 16 years technology experience within Tier 1 Global Financial Institutions in both Application Development and Infrastructure groups, operating up to Executive Board level.

He has a significant track record of working with lines of business to deliver their required technology products and services, allowing the achievement of overall strategic objectives. Whilst at the same time transforming the underlying technology groups, to allow these objectives to be met more efficiently/effectively, addressing both technical delivery and organisational capability.

With direct organisational management experience of 200+ colleagues, in addition to 600+ in-directly as a Group Chief Operating Officer, including multi-site management across the US, Europe and Asia.

As well as leading large programmes/portfolio of change across both Applications Development and Infrastructure, he has extensive experience in managing outsourced providers and other partners.

Axel Liebetrau is an international thought leader on innovation and future management, keynote speaker and entrepreneur with a passion.

About Kris Hansen

Kris Hansen is a technology leader focused on leading teams that transform systems to align to strategic business objectives. He is currently the Director of Solution Architecture at the Royal Bank of Canada where he leads a team of senior solution architects. Formerly he was the Managing Director, Enterprise Architecture at ATB Financial and Chief Architect on a large scale multi year initiative to completely transform the bank.

Previously in his career he has consulted to government, airports, judiciaries, banks, insurance companies on strategic transformation and IT integration related to mergers and acquisition and building and growing a professional services practice.

As an entrepreneur he has developed shrink wrapped software, SAAS solutions, mobile software, and eCommerce systems.

As a writer he has co-authored several technical books and written articles. He is the author of articles on corebankingblog.com that focus on banking transformation. He has an MBA and BGS in applied studies from Athabasca University.

About Frank Schwab

Frank Schwab has more than 20 years of professional bank and IT business experience.

He is founder of imacor – a consultancy with the focus to project future-proof IT landscapes for banks. His customers are banks, IT consultancies and IT Service Providers in Europe and Middle East.

Until 2009 Frank was chief architect, innovation leader and head of business development at Deutsche Bank. Amongst others he was responsible for the planning of the core banking transformation based on SAP Banking, the renewal of the Online Banking and the introduction of Mobile Banking within Deutsche Bank.

Between 2008 and 2010 he did win three European Awards 2010 for a new Online Banking Architecture, for Mobile Banking and for Touch Banking at Q110 - The Deutsche Bank of the Future.
