+ ProblemsThe Company was several years behind competition with its development of 4G equipment and needed to close the gap. Further, The Company had difficulties handling 4G LTE upgraded data speeds.
The Company needed a database that could process 4000 CPS (Calls Per Second). Traditional on-disk databases simply could not fulfill this prerequisite.
The Company wanted to take advantage of MIPS architecture. Embedded MIPS implementations in The Company’s telecommunication equipment would allow for reduced power-consumption and lower heat characteristics.
The Company attempted to develop an in-house data processing module but this caused internal complications and undue delays. The Company sought a commercial database with a standard and easy to use interface for quick and trouble-free deployment.
