BACKGROUND

• Due to recently discovered unprofessional conduct by certain employees, an employer has decided to explore GPS tracking solutions, which will enable the continuous monitoring of employees’ location.

• The solution will cover a workforce of about 50-200

employees. One or more supervisors will manage the monitoring system and will be able to add, remove and update users in the system as needed.


SCOPE OF PROPOSED SOLUTION

• The system for monitoring employee location will be based on Pingwyn’s iPhone application.

• The application uses GPS data from the iPhone mobile devices and transmits this data to a secure, cloud-based server. This data is then made available on a map via a secure Internet browser.

• Super-users, or system administrators can monitor the location of the users on the map.

ASSUMPTIONS

• This proposed scope assumes that the employer will choose to upgrade it’s employee mobile phones to iPhones, from the current ones.

• The monitoring of employees’ location will be done on a continuous basis. Further reporting and analytics will be provided on ad-hoc basis and will be discussed as a possible follow-up project with a separate scope and timeline.

• Employers will manage employee privacy and will agree to disclose full scope of program to every user.


FUTURE SERVICES

• Reporting and analytics refers to saving employee location data for later view in table format or on a map. When reporting and analytics become an integral part of the Pingwyn platform, they will also become available free of charge to existing customers.

• When the Pingwyn platform becomes operational on

Android phones, Windows phones, Blackberries and other smartphone operating systems – these upgrades will be made available for free to existing customers. Additional or premium services based on location monitoring will be discussed on as needed basis in the future.


IMPLEMENTATION TIMETABLE


PRICING

• Standard pricing for development is $1,000/week and for Testing, QA and Deployment is $800/week. Post deployment the standard monthly fees are $4.99/user/month.

• For this pilot program we are offering a total pricing of

$8,000, which is more than $4,000 savings. This price will cover application development, testing and quality assurance, deployment and free service for all users on the system through the end of 2014. The payments will be split with 50% due upon signing and the balance upon deployment of the system.
