Custom Headers and Images
Headers
Could be just text
May include an image or logo
Usually in top left corner, sometimes centre
May have a tagline (additional explanatory text)
Header
WordPress Headers
Images should be at least 820 pixels (px) wide
Suggested size 820 x 250px
A pixel is a single point of light on a screen
Images
You want to maintain a reasonable resolution, whilst
keeping the file size as small as possible.
It’s a balance!
Editing an Image

Resize to the widest dimension e.g. 820px wide
Crop to desired dimensions e.g. 820 x 250px
Can add text etc.
Blog Picture / Favicon
Settings | General
Upload resized image
